Returned from a good 7 night stay at W Dubai at Mina Seyahi. My 5 th trip to dubai and first time in the Marina area. Pleased with check in arrived early they managed to get me a room for early check in ,could not use the AI option until 3 pm but was appreciative to get room and unpack , freshen up and rest a little after an over night flight from UK.Room was good ,modern furnished ,nice Balcony but with the heat in June was not overused. One side of the hotel looks over nearby construction work, the cranes would compromise view particularly on lower floors, but while at the hotel did not have any issue with construction noise. It hard in Dubai to not have some building work close by.|Our room on 17 th floor had pleasing view overlooking the grounds of the adjacent hotels and lower part of the Palm lagoon. Room was spacious and good facilities ,quiet and hose keeping efficient.Only gripe was some idiot rang door bell and entered room at 7 am wanting to check the mini bar . (must of got wrong room ,but pretty annoying)|The staff in general are really good and a credit to the hotel, very friendly , helpful |and approachable. Stephanie at Ginger moon restaurant was a little star , infectious smile and remembered your name whole stay .Concierge booked us a lovely boat to take us around the marina and palm for two hours . |Good pool area at Ginger moon , where we spent most of the week , needs more sun loungers as do need to get for breakfast to secure which is something really dislike having to do. The adult pool area at the Westin the Mare is also pleasant spent couple days there and also Barista adult pool area adjacent to the W beach is also fine.So there is some choice if you cannot get a lounger at the Ginger moon pool.Lunch food at Ginger moon was lovely ,some great sushi ,did slightly over indulge on the AI some days .|My Personal review of the All Inclusive option at the W ,I thought it was good value with multiple restaurants to choose from over the 3 hotels included. The food quality and variety was great. The service level dropped as you left the W ,did not feel all the staff at some venues were at the same standard . Staff at the Spanish Tapas were lovely and kept my wine glass constantly full and also the Italian Bussola food was good . We had our final meal at Attiko on the 31 st floor, good views and cocktails and great Sushi meal (not included in the AI option ).Views from the terrace at sunset are spectacular and they had a very reasonable priced sunset cocktail menu.Worth just going up for a cocktail at sunset and enjoying the ambience and view.|Some food options on the AI have an additional charge so some times you may have to pay an extra 50 AED or £10 for a certain dish and some dishes for example a 1.2 Kg T bone steak to share we were charged an additional £50 . At the end of the week |the bill was very reasonable considering the meals we had had for the week.|Drinks were not extensive in choice with about 6 cocktails to choose from |two white ,two red and two Rose wines to choose from , and named spirits.|Big measures on the double gins (BOMBAY or Taqueary) Maybe a special cocktail of the day would be an option to add.|I would book Hotel again , when...

Service from staff was accommodating and helpful. Special mention to Erica, who was so very patient, considerate and determined to make sure we were placed in the best room possible, when we requested a change. Coming to the end of her shift, she was still as dedicated to task as anyone could be. She took the first opportunity to check with us if everything was alright, when she saw us the next day. An incredible asset to any team.

The main disappointments really ought to be addressed by the GM and higher-ups.

We were really taken by the UAE Resident Staycation Offer. However, staff and systems have not been fully equipped to deliver on this seamlessly. Dear Mr/Madam GM, for your consideration:

  1. The advertised 2pm late checkout was not presented as a "if possible" basis; staffers had to be informed by us – repeatedly – that this was the case; eventually we even pulled out the page on the property site that stipulates this.

  2. The 25% F&B discount on all Mina Seyahi Complex restaurants was not briefed to servers. Calls to W Hotel had to be made to double check and front desk must have been busy because we waited 15 minutes for our check before the servers at Sui Mui kindly extended the discount on their own discretion. This wasn't the case at Bussola and Attiko, and all the other places we dined at, so we had to get W Hotel front desk staff to retroactively apply the discounts. This could easily lead to guests overpaying and not knowing because you'd expect the discounts to be applied automatically when charges are signed to the room.

  3. The Heavenly Spa by Westin called me up to go down and pay the bill in person AFTER my partner had already left for her treatment. Their system is not connected to the W Hotel's despite all amenities and establishments throughout the Mina Seyahi Complex being advertised as part of the attraction of staying at the W Hotel. The spa team is an incredibly personable and attentive gang and management really need support them by giving them all the tools they need to deliver a flawless hospitality experience.

  4. Asking for a reservation at Attiko on the Bonvoy app was met with an explanation that the outlet handles its own bookings and a number to reach them myself. Competitive benchmarking would reveal that for comparably positioned luxury properties, restaurant reservations anywhere in the UAE would be made on your behalf by simply using the property's app; much less one actually in the same property AND marketed as one of the many establishments part of the Mina Seyahi Complex Staycation Offer guests could visit. Even if such a service wasn't table stakes for W's peer set, it seems such a desperately low-hanging missed opportunity to differentiate yourself as a consummate hospitality pioneer.

Staffers on the front lines, they score 5/5 for me. An overall 4/5 rating is because Madam/Mr. GM + Marriott execs in MENA and Global HQ, you've got to do better.

As a fan and frequent guest, as a shareholder, I hope you fix the eminently fixable and do justice to the dedication of your outstanding ladies and gentlemen you're so lucky to have...

A truly incredible week spent at W Mina Seyahi. The staff are a total credit to the hotel/brand at every level. We visited Ginger Moon for breakfast each day, and often revisited for lunch/dinner. The menu options are beyond a typical half board/full board selection. You get to choose from the full a la carte menu which offers a quality selection of options and the food was always delicious & plentiful. The staff in Ginger Moon, (Raj, Jaya, Stefanie to name a few) were always a total delight and made us feel so very welcome and valued each day. Remembering small details and always being open for a brief chat was appreciated. Nothing was ever too much trouble. |The sunbeds on the wet deck were high in demand but we’d always be offered a comfortable cabana whilst waiting and then promptly set up with sunbeds as soon as they became free. |Bottles of Still & sparkling water were always available at the pool/beach (for free) upon being seated and as regularly as requested thereafter. |The room was kept immaculately clean and tidy throughout our stay, special thanks to our house keeper Alisa who delivered a shoe rack and organised the many pairs of shoes we had brought with us for the trip. The room was spacious, comfortable and very well thought out. |During 2 days one of the pools was closed so we got a buggy cart to The Westin Mare By Bussola pool on the Mina Seyhai site (walkable distance, but easier to hop in a buggy when heading down in the midday sun). Another lovely pool area and great staff who couldn’t be more welcoming and helpful. We ate lunch at Mare on both days and the food was truly impressive! There isnt any indoor seating at mare, but plenty of shade and fans to help manage the heat. (Included in half board lunch option).|We had dinner at Attiko which we’d highly recommend (not included in half board option, but worth the spend/visit). Impressive Asian fusion dishes with stunning views from 31st floor, comfortable seating and great selection of cocktails! |We are gold elite Marriott members and felt that the team made a great effort in acknowledging our membership, with a complimentary upgrade on check in and farewell cocktails & cake at breakfast. |Overall the half board option is excellent value for money, with access to full al a carte menus in the inclusive restaurants. |Thank you to all the team for helping make our stay a memorable and special visit to Dubai! Highly recommend if you are seeking top tier service, food and accommodation. Our provider did give us the option to cancel and rebook due to ‘nearby construction work’, we were apprehensive about proceeding but the hotel assured us there would be no disruption and they were absolutely correct. We didn’t have any disruption from construction during our stay, so if you get a similar message, do not let it deter you from visiting.|We will definitely...

Avoid this “five-star” hotel if you value sleep and service Our experience started on the wrong foot the moment we checked in. We had clearly booked — and paid extra — for a sea view room, but arrived late to find ourselves stuck in a room that had nothing resembling a sea view. Instead, we were treated to the lovely sight and sound of a massive construction site right outside our window. After a long flight, trying to sleep with all that noise was impossible. We were eventually moved — but not immediately. Not that evening. The next day, halfway through the day. So much for customer service. Now let’s talk about the pool area. Despite visiting during low season, we could barely find space unless we woke up early to play the classic “reserve your sunbed with a towel” game. Is this really a five-star hotel in Dubai or an all-inclusive resort in south of Europe? I didn’t come here to wake up at 7am just to secure a chair by the pool. And no, I didn’t book this hotel so I could spend my vacation running between “partner hotel” pools. I booked this hotel for a reason. When you finally get a spot and try to relax? Good luck ordering anything. Service by the pool and beach area is absolutely abysmal. Be prepared to wait 20–30 minutes just for a glass of water — if you can even find a staff member to take your order. In this heat, that’s not just annoying — it’s borderline unacceptable. As for the rooms, the soundproofing is non-existent. We were constantly woken up at random hours by noise from the hallway, doors slamming, people talking, and — for some reason — housekeeping vacuuming the corridor in the early morning. Today, we were woken by drilling and hammering from the room above us. For over an hour. I wasn’t even going to bother writing a review, but being jolted awake by what sounded like a full renovation made it impossible not to. Bottom line: if you’re looking for a relaxing vacation with actual service, sea views, and the ability to sleep past 7am — look elsewhere. This was an noisy, and incredibly disappointing experience.

From the moment we arrived, the resort impressed us with its luxury touches and fantastic service. The reception is stunning, the finishes are high quality, and our room was beautifully designed with thick towels, incredible bedding, and thoughtful morning and evening turndown service. Breakfast was excellent, with staff happy to accommodate special requests. The facilities are outstanding. The gym is large and well-equipped, with a fantastic cold plunge, sauna, and steam room. Across the resort there’s space for every mood—adult-only pools, kids’ pools, beach beds, poolside loungers, and grassy relaxation areas. We spent most of our time at Mare, the adults-only pool club, which had the perfect vibe. The food was consistently excellent, both by the pool and in the restaurant. Dining across the resort was a real highlight. The tapas and steak restaurants were both great, though the tapas restaurant was a little restrictive on the all-inclusive package. By contrast, Fish (the seafood/Greek restaurant) was outstanding—generous, accommodating, and with impeccable service. The atmosphere was more relaxed than the other venues, and the food was delicious. Even if you’re not a seafood fan, there are plenty of options, and it’s not to be missed. The Negroni bar also made for a wonderful pre-dinner experience. Staff throughout the resort were friendly and professional. On one occasion when a power issue caused delays in the restaurant, they handled it superbly—offering complimentary cocktails outside of the all-inclusive package and making sure our experience wasn’t affected. The only minor drawback was the outdoor swimming lanes, which are part of the kids’ pool. Children often swam across the lanes and lifeguards didn’t intervene, plus the water was a little cloudy. However, this didn’t take away from an otherwise excellent stay. Overall, we’d 100% return. The service, food, and hospitality were outstanding, and the resort offers everything you could possibly want for a relaxing yet vibrant holiday
