Broadway Plaza — Attraction in Birmingham

Ok so the bowling was fun, I like bowling and the bowling element of this particular bowling alley is fine.

HOWEVER, I am disgusted with the quality of the food that is provided by this establishment. Yesterday a friend and I ordered Nachos for TWO. Now this name would usually suggest, nachos served with ample SAUWWCE for two, along with ample CHEEEEEESE for two, HOWEVER, this was not the case!

Instead, I found myself presented with a nachos for a small child/baby/mouse. Myself and my friend had no option but to ration the SAUWWWCE and the CHEEEESE! If there was any less I would have probably found myself having to present ration cards at the bar, are supplies of SAUWWWCCCE and CHEEEEESEEE really that limited in today's world? I THINK NOT. Instead myself and my friend resorted to bowling with near empty stomachs which led to an impact on my usual superior performance. Once more, because I had an empty stomach, the beers which were flowing in caused me to 'peak' too early, leading to me achieving a mere score of 110........POOR!!!

Visited the Odeon Lux, what a great format for a cinema. Staff were nice but there was a decent queue for the food and sweets. We waited for about 15mins. The air-conditioning in the auditorium (screen 3) was was broken (sign on door) which was a bit late as we had already collected food etc. The auditorium was extremely hot as expected this time of the year with recent weather. The seat were super comfortable though with leather style electric reclining seats, with your own small table. You have back protection to where you site which protects others from getting trapped as you recline but also ensures no-one can kick your seats. This scores high as even with the broken air-conditioning and the queue for food treats you get free parking, comfortable seats, a great screen and sound with plenty of room.
