Montpellier Massage & Beauty Cheltenham — Attraction in Cheltenham

After scrolling online places around Cheltenham I found this one. Prices affordable and lots of things to choose from massages/ waxing/ nails… I have booked online for leg waxing and eyebrow tweezing + tinting and paid at booking time. I went in today, Issy welcomed so warmly, I was a bit scared at the begin with but the way she approached and carried on all the treatment was just amazing. She was so chatty and friendly and didn’t even realised when she finished . After the leg waxing we started taking about how I did want my eyebrows done. She was so knowledgeable and understandable, I explained and showed her what I wanted and she followed all my requests word by word. I didn’t need to do any tinting in the end as we went through that final stage and talked about how it works, she refunded me back the money I paid for as I didn’t need that treatment. The place was so clean and welcoming and the way she treats you while there will let you feel comfortable. I booked a massage for my partner for his bday a couple of weeks ago - firstly we had a change of location text to me 10mins before the app and then had to wait outside for 10-15 mins whilst the therapist had to go and get keys to open up. There seemed to be alot of confusion on this app even though I had booked weeks in advance.

When he finally got his massage he said it was the best he ever had but sadly it wasn’t for the full hour and a half I paid for.

I received a phone call from Izzy to apologise however felt she passed the blame on to the therapist which I felt a bit unprofessional. I was told that I would receive a full refund but 2 weeks on I still haven’t received this. I have tried to contact but with no success.

It was such a shame as I see all the lovely reviews for this place and was so gutted as it was for my partners bday which started off stressful and haven’t heard anything since and not received my refund. I would hope that maybe someone will respond to me...

Once I finally got to see the very efficient, competent, friendly and helpful Lola all was excellent. However, the build up was very stressful. There isn’t a receptionist who takes calls, makes appointments or lets you know if there is a problem. WhatsApp is the main form of communication and automated messages are sent that don’t relate to what you are asking! You also need to note that the business operates from 2 separate buildings which creates chaos when communication is already lacking. To cut a long story short, I had to have an unpleasant phone call with Issy who seemed to think it acceptable to make clients wait if the previous client was 30 minutes late and to change venue at the last minute. Such a shame that it was so poorly organised as it was my first time there and it felt very stressful. As previously mentioned, once I saw Lola I was reassured by her professionalism and competence.
