Vintage Wool Rugs — Attraction in City of Edinburgh

My wife Lesley and I were looking for a large woolen/silk rug for our lounge and visited this wonderful oriental rug shop in Newington. We were delighted to discover it had a sale on but even more happy to meet the shared owner Saeed who we recognised on entering the shop as a fellow squash club member. It was lovely to meet him and see his absolutely stunning collection of beautiful rugs from all over the world. He was only too pleased to lay out so many designs, colours and sizes for us to look at. We couldn't make our mind up on final rug selection, so he very kindly brought a shortlist of 5 rugs out to our home to layout in lounge to help us make up our mind. He was a delight to work with, and nothing was too much trouble. There was no pressure to decide and he gave us lots of time to deliberate. Finally after choosing the most beautiful rug to suit our wooden lounge floor, he left it in position and we paid by BACS. I cannot recommend this company enough. I highly recommend this rug shop! After visiting a few other stores, including one in Morningside and something tent (neither of which had anything close to what I was looking for), I was starting to lose hope.
