I don't normally write reviews in general but had to share my experience with others as I felt quite robbed by this ordeal and felt the need to warn others planning to book a stay here. Extremely poor customer service - I had a booking planned for this hotel and cancelled 7 days in advance of check-in after the announcement of new COVID restrictions placing the area where I live as well as the area where the hotel is located in tier 4 and 3 (respectively), which specify no overnight stays permitted for nonessential purposes and that hotels "must close," during my reservation dates. Despite this, I was charged the FULL amount of the stay despite having cancelled 7 days ahead (which was the amount of time I had to cancel free of charge as per my cancellation policy, with no specific time of day by which the booking had to be cancelled) and with these new government issued health measures making an overnight stay in this hotel during my booked dates punishable by law. The hotel was very difficult to get a hold of, either not answering the phone or failing to return a message within 24 hours, and I was told different information each day that I called based on who I spoke with. Unfortunately the hotel refused to refund my money, or even provide a credit for future stay or forgive one night of the stay - I will NEVER book a stay at this property again, or any of their affiliate properties. It is a shame because the hotel actually seemed like a great place to stay, however the staff running the hotel are crooks.
