I had been wanting to try here for ages, and may I say it was worth the inticipation. We had a lovely server called Jess! She was ever so accomidating as I'm easily stimulated with excitement out places and it was taken in such a kind friendly unnoticeable way so even my anxiety was well rested. So fear not introverts, lovely calming atmosphere From the moment we walked in we were greeted by friendly staff and sat down (On a Monday after 5pm) - served with menus that really worked with dietary requirements that they made sure with us with a useful menu showing allergies. Food was easily customizable to remove cheese etc. The pricing is great, came to around £70 in total, great pricing for a great night. The atmosphere was upbeat and warm, which is nice on cold winter nights. The food served fresh and hot, completely customizable in spice and sides. Definetly worth checking out for you tex-mex needs. The cleanliness is great with a grrat amount in space in tables, booths and bars.
Thank you all!

Read moreI first went to this restaurant about 1 month ago. The food and service was spot on! Our waiter for the evening was Mario and he was simply brilliant. He made our evening very pleasant. Everything was served on time without being rushed but also without long waiting times. I would rate it 5 stars. Based on the service I received then I decided to go back yesterday (17/4/18) and the evening was a major disappointment. We were seated swiftly and someone approached us within a couple of minutes to ask if we wanted drinks. We asked for a minute and were approached after 10 minutes. Our entire order was taken and that was fine. Starters and drinks were served within 15 mins. After the starters finished we waited another 15mins before anyone cleared our table and another 30mins before our mains were brought out to us. All while I can see other people being served and checked on. When we finished our waiter cleared our table after 15 minutes and I asked for the bill. We sat waiting for 20 minutes as we watched him dance around the restaurant and talk behind the bar while occasionally taking orders. When I asked another waitress for our bill she gave me a disgusted look, told me she was serving other tables and I should wait. We finally paid our bill and were able to leave. Some may say we should have spoken to any other member of staff but we were seated in an area that they hardly passed and no one came to check if our food was okay or to see if we had finished which is why we sat around waiting for so long constantly. Horrible evening due to a...
Read moreso i’m a bit confused as to how this place has a 4.2 rating because people clearly do not know what good food tastes like so i’ll link what meals we had and how they were.
the waiting time for food was approx 40 mins, i personally don’t think that’s good waiting time but its dependant on what others are willing to wait for, no timing was given on food.
the chicken wings with bbq sauce were really good flavour wise however, they were warm and not hot in temperature.. i saw microwaves being used.
the biria tacos.. something that you see trending on instagram all the time, it was a shame that they didn’t live up to the reputation. the cheese.. tasted cheap, the beef was very fatty, the taco wasn’t a taco and thats me being real for the people who want to order this - no authenticity!
the chicken tacos, you can taste they were trying to hold onto the decent parts of the chicken rather than overcooking it especially drying it out under those heat lights. the salsa has so much potential if they cut the vegetables smaller and added a spice like chilli or jalapeño for kick.
the chips, they were nice in texture but left in oil way too long which was a shame!
the star of the show was the drinks, the chupacabra and the rhubarb and honey margarita! beautiful flavours and nice and strong.
i understand being understaffed especially with half term, but it’s good to prioritise quality of service rather than trying to cater and...
