I love Preston Sands, go there regularly to walk the dog. But since 1st May dogs not allowed on the beach, until end of September. Booooo!! I understand why, it's more important for the council to receive the blue flag award for the beach and it's cleanliness, to attract more tourists to the bay. However, the seagulls make as much if not more, mess than the dogs, and can be Vicious stealing food from tourists. This year the seagulls seam worse than ever. Suffice to say the experience of swimming at Preston sands beach was peaceful and exhilarating if you get over the initial chill. For lunch we had the most deliciously tasty fish and chips I've had...
