Great little beach quite large and plenty of space for dogs and kids to run around. Dog friendly ๐Ÿ•โ€๐Ÿฆบ๐Ÿฉ๐Ÿฆฎ๐Ÿ•๐Ÿถ๐Ÿพ๐Ÿพ โ™ฟ๏ธ parking is great always a space. โ˜•๏ธ Refreshments in a little van and an ice cream van always there when we get there around 12-3 pm very nice people serving.has his own dog who likes to bark a little to say hello his way bless him. So please give the coffee guys dog a break itโ€™s just the way he communicates ๐Ÿฅฐ ๐Ÿถ๐Ÿ•๐Ÿ•โ€๐Ÿฆบ๐Ÿพ๐Ÿพ if your dogs are a barker too just try and give the coffee van a bit of space as to not get his pooch into trouble as it is his owners van and heโ€™s only doing his job bless him. Lovely sandy beach unlike the pebbles of the main front. Great shallow incline to the beach so great for kids to have a paddle and nice big sands for beach games and a nice stroll whilst taking in the Great Orme. There is a nice little cafe at one end on the beach near the carpark that offers snacks, coffee and ice creams. Toilets and a small park half way along the beach too. Loads of benches for a sit down. Good little chippy close by and a local bar across the road too. Fantastic sunsets at this location in the evening. Parking is decent too and often a free space near the promenade is available.

Visited for the day while we were on holiday in our touring caravan. We were staying on a site a few miles away. Wonderful views of the Great Orme, street parking and pay and display with reasonable charges. Not too busy at the time we visited at the end of April. Absolutely stunning beach walk which our dogs absolutely loved. Restriction on the beach for dogs from May until September. We will be returning when we visit this area on North Wales. Town centre is very nice with every shop you can think of..

Fabulous beach which is normally occupied by locals so can be quieter as holiday makers are sometimes unaware we have 2 beaches. Has a small boating lake and a great park. Parking is free along the road aswel but it does also have a small car park located by the beach cafe. Has a great edition of a bucket/spade and other beach toys that you can use whilst your there and return then for others to enjoy! Plenty of green space to play and enjoy a picnic too! The tide can catch you out if you don't know the beach so make sure you follow any safety notices if visiting the beautiful westshore. There is a one stop 2 minute walk from the beach and also a great pub and restaurant called the lily if your wanting a cold...

Amazing beach I must say. It's big and never as crowded as the North shore can get. Usually an ice cream van out there in the summer and it's easy to walk to from any part of the town. At low tide, the water can get very, VERY far out. You can hardly see it from the top of the beach. But then the tide rises very very fast and after a couple hours it can be right up to the beach.

Very tidal shore so if you're intending to build a sandcastle or just lay down for a bit, I'd definitely recommend going further up the beach to a dryer part so you don't have to leave in a rush when the tide comes in.

You can see very far and see a couple other towns from it. Really an...

Lovely place to stroll or sit whilst watching the kite surfers just offshore. There is parking available on the road and a public fee-paying carpark though Blue badge holder spaces are free. There is a cafe and public toilets, however, on Christmas day unless you had cash the toilets could not be used as the card readers were out of action, along with the accessible toilet. Along the promenade is a playground, outdoor gym, boating lake and plenty of seats. The Orme offers various walking routes. There is a cafe bar across the road from the beach and a shop within close proximity. Lovely place to...
