I lived in the area for 27 years and this place used to be one of my favourite cafes to visit. I visited on Bank Holiday weekend and shocked with the rudeness of the man and woman in there I'm assuming the owners. I ordered the drinks for me and a friend and then asked if any of the cakes were made with oil rather than butter as I couldn't have dairy their helpfulness was none existent and a very flippant attitude. I then went to pay with my card I was told cash only, I said I didn't have cash the reply was can't you see the signs. There there and there I said no I'm sorry I didn't. The tray was pushed towards me and he said we'll I've made the drinks so take them and don't expect any cakes.
