This review is for the new car parking not the store/arcade. I'm writing it in the hope that management might read it and seek to improve things.
So why 1 star?
Confusing layout The entry to the car park is very disorientating. After driving round a blind corner you are immediately met by oncoming traffic... it's only a matter of time before there is a bump (assuming there hasn't been one already!).
Poorly sign posted There need be clearer signs stating what level you are on... current signage is inadequate (resulting in disorientated shoppers walking around trying to find their car). To add confusion, the floor levels of the store don't match the car park. Colour zoning and/or additional/improved signage would help.
Inadequate no./poor location of payment machines Long queues by the main payment machines Just one machine by main store car park entrance that accepts cash Ideally, there should be one of these on every level!
Payment machines not clearly marked Some payment machines only accept cards That's fine, but they should be signposted a such Lots of customers trying to use cash in these only to find they can't!
Slow/inadequate no. of lifts for no. of customers Be prepared to wait a while for one!
Really poor traffic flow - layout/design I'm no architect, but I can't believe we're in the 21st century and the car park is laid out the way it is. People are driving bigger and bigger cars nowadays (SUVs etc) and yet there is inadequate space for cars to corner without risk of collision. This is clearly a problem, as the spaces on each corner have all been fenced off. I saw plenty of frustrated drivers who had to stop for an oncoming vehicle effectively 'on the wrong side of the road' in order to maneuver around the corner. Very poorly thought out.
Narrow exit Hold your breath! There are already paint scrapes where people have caught their mirrors. I'm sure it's only a matter of time before more scrapes will happen.
Expensive OK. Parking in Leeds is never going to be cheap, but £7.00 for 3 hours is excessive. Plenty of cheaper options are available in Leeds, so decide for yourself whether the convenience is worth the price. Overnight parking very cheap however.
That all said, the John Lewis store and arcade however are very nice. I would award 4 stars for them (and 5 stars had there been a Waitrose, as others have also commented).
So in summary, a pleasant shopping experience, but some work needs to be done on the car park. Some changes could be made quite easily which would improve things (especially...

Victoria Leeds is a stunning blend of old-world charm and modern style, where historical architecture meets sleek high-end shopping. A visit here offers a delightful stroll through its two parts - Victoria Quarter with its elegant arcades, and Victoria Gate, a more recent addition with its distinctive modern design. It's almost as if stepping into a time capsule with a twist, where the past and present harmoniously blend together.
The array of stores is diverse, with high-end retailers such as Louis Vuitton, Harvey Nichols, and Jo Malone, mingling with more accessible brands like & Other Stories. Whether you're looking to splurge or simply window shop, Victoria Leeds has something to cater to everyone's tastes.
Dining options are equally varied, from the elegance of Issho Rooftop Restaurant & Bar to more casual, yet equally enjoyable eateries. After a day of shopping, these spots provide the perfect respite to sit back and enjoy a good meal.
The place is usually kept clean and well-maintained, adding to the overall pleasant experience. The staff at the shops and eateries are generally friendly, though the service can vary.
While Victoria Leeds is mostly an indoor space, it lacks ample seating areas. More spots to rest would certainly enhance the overall visitor experience, especially during busier times.
Overall, Victoria Leeds is more than just a shopping destination. It's a space where architecture, history, and retail converge to provide a unique experience, making it a must-visit when in Leeds. It garners a...
