Enfes Mangal is a popular restaurant located in Leigh-on-Sea, a coastal town in Essex, England. It is renowned for its authentic Turkish cuisine and vibrant atmosphere. The restaurant's name, "Enfes Mangal," translates to "Delicious Grill" in English, reflecting its focus on grilled dishes prepared with great care and attention to detail.

Upon entering Enfes Mangal, guests are greeted by a warm and inviting ambiance. The interior decor typically features a blend of traditional Turkish elements, including colourful tiles, ornate lamps, and rustic wooden furnishings. The restaurant is designed to create a comfortable and relaxed setting for diners to enjoy their meals.

Enfes Mangal's menu showcases a wide range of Turkish dishes, highlighting the rich flavors and diverse culinary heritage of the country. The restaurant takes pride in using fresh, high-quality ingredients to create each dish. Popular options include lamb shish kebabs, chicken Adana kebabs, and mixed grill platters.

In addition to grilled meats, Enfes Mangal offers a variety of vegetarian and seafood options to cater to different dietary preferences. Some vegetarian specialties include falafel, stuffed peppers, and spinach. Seafood lovers can indulge in dishes like grilled sea bass, prawns, and calamari.

Complementing the main courses, the restaurant also serves a selection of mezze, which are small appetisers or side dishes. These include hummus, stuffed grape leaves, babaganoush (roasted eggplant dip), and tabbouleh (a salad made with parsley, bulgur wheat, and tomatoes).

To enhance the dining experience, Enfes Mangal offers a range of Turkish beverages and desserts. Traditional Turkish tea and coffee are available, along with refreshing ayran (a yogurt-based drink) and fruit juices. For dessert, guests can enjoy classics like baklava (sweet pastry with nuts and honey), kunefe (a cheese pastry soaked in syrup), and Turkish delight.

Visited last year and was amazing shame the same can’t be said for last night. We arrived at 7.30 was out by 8.25. We ordered a shared starter for £14 very disappointed by how small it was but what made it worse was before we had even finished one of the staff came to take away our plates as our mains were ready so no time to enjoy the starter and let it go down a little. Then the table next to us arrived a table of 4 but had 5 people sitting at so what little space was between our table and theirs was now filled with a chair and person. I ended up with someone’s coat on my lap a back right next to our food. We couldn’t enjoy a conversation as couldn’t hear my partner (not the next tables fault they were also wanting to enjoy themselves).

Was hoping to of had a well needed date night with my partner child free ended up being back at home in Southend by 8.45 £75 down and really annoyed. Complete waste of money and times. Won’t be returning or recommending again...

Very lovely staff! It was my first time having Turkish food, I had a lovely cup of Turkish tea and a Vegetarian Iskender and it very filling. Unfortunately, I didn't get the names of the staff but I presume the owner was very lovely and patient with me. She even gave me a little starter to try some other foods for free, it was very kind of her to do and I'll definitely come back again! Thank you for the lovely Turkish Delight (Lokum) it was very sweet and gooey! Another worker who was a man, again didn't get their name, was very friendly and always had a smile. Thank you so much for letting me take the rest of my meal home, I had filled myself up with the starter without realising the main was yet to come. Absolutely amazing scenery too and very clean! I will definitely recommend...

WOULD GIVE 6 STARS IF POSSIBLE! Came in for a late lunch today after hunting for a new food place to try. The gentleman working was exceptionally polite and friendly; you could really see how much care and attention he put into everything during our time there, and that it meant a lot to him. We ordered two dinner kebabs and a portion of chips to share. He also gave us a portion of Turkish flatbread and a chilli dip to sample on the house, which was AMAZING! Afterwards we were given baklava and Turkish delight on the house too - very generous! The Baklava was unreal, easily the best I’ve ever had. The restaurant itself was quaint and well decorated, with traditional Turkish music playing to really set the scene. Would 100% recommend and I’ll be back very soon!

I was absolutely appalled by the service the cleanliness the food and most of all the chef not even understanding what was asked we had Dorma which was vegetarian and rock-hard not edible at all then raw chicken wings with blood coming from them then ordered more chicken which was raw the lamb shish was Pink inside no taste at all, the salad was chopped finally but could only taste parsley the bread was far too much and didn't taste fresh and last but not least we didn't enjoy the floor being swept whilst the food was on the table I paid £50 for food that wasn't eaten. I definitely will not be going back to this establishment again I was very embarrassed to have taken a London food restaurant owner to this establishment. AVOID
