Really Nice place to catch a relatively healthy lunch. Good effective service. Timely. Didn't mind. I'm a fan of wetherspoons in general. As someone who is currently trying to lose weight I really appreciate the fact that they provide calories on their menu. I like the relative affordability compared to a lot of other places that one could eat in town in. Also I like the fact that they clearly signpost lower calorie options so that I don't have to scour the whole menu. This is something I think more places should offer. Unlimited refill coffee and food that fits into my calorie budget made this a clear winner for me. It's nice that pubs are back open and I hope it stays that way. Had the skinny chicken burger and that was a pleasure.

The best thing about Wetherspoon's are the deals and cheaper drinks. The service when you order from the app is also pretty good - sometimes a bit too quick! The food is unfortunately lacking, at least in this branch. We came for dinner and a drink in the evening which was okay - an 8 inch pizza (average) and a chicken strip burger (not bad) and chips (nice but barely warm). The best part was getting a pint each incorporated into the price, making the food portion fairly cheap. We decided to come for breakfast the next morning after checking out the options and were sadly quite disappointed. We both had the freedom breakfast which looks good on the menu, and even on the plate, but lacked in quality. The hash browns were forgotten at first but quickly brought out afterwards when pointed out, the breakfasts came out so fast and it was clear that nothing is freshly prepared. The bacon was inedible to me as it was so old and tough, and there was shell in my egg which is an absolute pet hate for me. To top it all off, the food was barely warm again. On the plus side, drinks delivering again, you can get unlimited refills on tea/coffee/hot chocolate (from a machine) for around £1.50. I usually choose Wetherspoon's for a cheaper option but found that the prices have gone up considerably but the standard hasn't, so unfortunately don't think I'll be back in a hurry.

This was interestingly located, in the town centre. It was very busy as you walked in. You would be almost like be performing in a obstacle course to find your way round. Had a latte but it was nothing to right home about, it was ok at best but can see why other people prefer your other known brands. I had a Pasta Alfredo. This was my highlight as opted to not have any meat for my lunch. It was delivered in a timely manner. The food tested good and could taste different flavoures. I enjoyed this meal and would love to have it again. Toilets where located up stairs but there was a funky smell. When you ordered the drinks, they was delivered in timely manner also but there was a bit of a que to order.

20 years ago when I was a student, Wetherspoon was great, I used to love the full English breakfast and curry nights. Yesterday was the worst burger I've had a in a long time. I paid £2.14 for extra maple cured bacon and a slice of American cheese - imagine my surprise when the burger came with a slice of generic sandwich cheese that costs a quid for 20 slices at the nearest lidl - an absolute joke, that's not American cheese by any standard. Burger was tasteless, bacon had no taste of maple syrup. Staff was friendly and helpful and the atmosphere is the usual Wetherspoon atmosphere w it's decent. However based on the food, I think i'll have to stay away in the future. A real shame.

Orderd a mixed grill and got burnt food. Didn't complain because I was too embaressed. The staff are lovely and I ate there several times this week....I was on a short vacation. The problem is with the chain itself... they appear to be using food that isn't the best...the quality has gone down. Wetherspoons are famous for low prices but when the food quality suffers to the degree that makes you pay a bit more somewhere else for better quality.....there is only one thing to do. Its a real shame because the staff that serve are brilliant and I've watched them work bloody hard. Management please please do something

Came into Welkin Liverpool 27th August 2024. I complained about the jacket potato I ordered, it was absolutely disgusting. The response I got from staff when I complained was diabolical. The coke I had was watered down too, I will never eat in any of these pubs again. I was told that the potato was edible and if the waiter sent it back to kitchen they would just send it back to me. I have read awful reviews and seems nothing is done about complaints. Waiters and waitresses need to have lessons in politeness here were so rude.
