Station Buffet — Restaurant in Wales

Rude staff who will ignore you whilst you wait in heavy rain to order a drink.

I visited this cafe at 3pm on a Saturday and went to the indoor counter to order 2 hot drinks, after completing Snowdon on a particularly wet and miserable day. The man at the counter had his back to me, doing nothing, and once he turned around told me I needed to go to the hatch to order as he was closed. So I had to go outside in the pouring rain, to order 2 hot drinks. Once I get to the hatch I ask to order 2 drinks, a guy cleaning a machine says one minute, and 2 ladies wiping a countertop look at me then turn away. I continue to be ignored by every member of staff whilst I’m stood in the rain. I have to ask 2 more times to be served. Then they have the cheek to charge £3.20 for a cup of hot water with a tea bag in it. I understand they are probably an extremely busy cafe with it being at the beginning of the path to Snowdon but this was still 30 mins before they closed! I’ve done Snowdon twice from this route and this interaction alone has put me off ever...

After a long hike, I was both hungry and thirsty. Although I knew this place was a tourist trap, it turned out to be one of the worst I’ve encountered and I've been all over the world. I ordered a burger, coffee, and a Diet Coke. The burger was a disaster—two tasteless patties slapped between some bread. It was so bad, I wouldn’t have given it to my dog; it went straight in the bin. I should have refused it when it was practically thrown at me the moment I asked for it. The coffee was terrible too, everything was overpriced, and the service left a lot to be desired.

My advice: drive a bit further out of the tourist area and find a nice...

Only came here for a quick coffee. Was sad to see that it wasn't barista-made, but it instead came from a machine. It was fine, but not worth it for the price. I didn't eat here, but I saw that there wasn't much choice for food either. If you have time, I'd advise finding a cafe on the high street instead as it would be of much better quality than this place which is just a...
