what a fantastic place and a great opportunity to see this place just a couple of times a year. the downstairs synagogue was fascinating. downstairs the kitchen could have been made to be more interesting by removing the more modern appliances. upstairs they'd made a small room. i asked about rodinsky's room, which is on the attic floor and can't be entered. i'd love to have done that. you need a bunch of time to really explore and read all the descriptions. my great great grandparents were married in the synagogue - i tried to imagine this. no photos allowed. if you come, be prepared to wait. finally, the volunteers...
