We were trying to decide on a place to eat and were invited in as we walked down the street. As they opened the door the smells were enough of a sell on sitting down. As I am a fan of spicy and my wife has very little spice tolerance we definitely ordered from separate spectrums and I can guarantee you, this place has you covered no matter how spicy or not you want your meal. The staff was so attentive and helpful as we placed our order. And from start to finish the entire meal was amazing. The naan bread was fresh, fluffy and hot. Even cut into quarters to make it easier to handle without having to tear it to pieces. My wife had the butter chicken and the sauce was to die for. As I said she doesn’t do spicy but this is the first time I have ever seen her not just eat the chicken out of the dish. She full on was adding the sauce to her rice she loved it so much. As for myself I went for a vegetable Vindaloo and a side of Bombay Aloo. The sauce was amazing and had that perfect heat where it was hot without distracting from the flavor and the heat just builds on you. After a dessert and coffee we couldn’t handle another bite. If you’re in the area, I know there is a lot of competition, but their food here is amazing and their prices were great, while their service was even better. Thank you for an amazing dining experience. Can’t wait to come back.

This was quite possibly the best Indian meal I've ever had - and I've had a lot of Indian food. If I could pick this place up and put it in NYC I'd visit it weekly. The vegetarian Thali was perfection. My partner enjoyed her meat Thali. The tandoori paneer was amazing as well. We started with onion bhaji and samosas. When the samosas came out I thought I was not going to like them because they used a phyllo dough instead of the more puffy pastry type that I'm used to but I was immediately blown away by the samosa's filling which was perfection. All of their sauces were fresh and tasted great. Will recommend to any friends looking for a great Indian meal while in London. Also, the staff was very attentive and professional. Clean utensils and plates with each course. Never felt rushed or ignored. They also dealt kindly with some more difficult (loud and drunken) diners.

Chicken Tikka Sizzler. Same dish at 2 different places in 1 night. This was first and solid round-down 4.5 stars. The service was fantastic. Draft beer available. Nice place. Good for a date night. The dish was spiced a perfect mild-medium and the flavors of the curry were solid. Tomato and all the spices really came through. Sticks of red and green peppers and whole slices of fresh tomatoes had my veggie itch scratched! The only constructive criticism and it’s a big one, considering the dish, was the chicken breast was dry. Lots of flavor I the sauce to offset… but just that thing that is missing. Oh, and the rice, money!! Moist chicken in this dish and this is 5-star all day long. I understand this is one dish but getting your chicken right is a big deal and worthy of bringing a review down. Still would go back and try other dishes, though!!

The dining experience was a delightful journey into the world of Indian cuisine, filled with enticing flavors and aromatic spices. To start, the onion bhajis were an absolute treat. The first bite revealed a perfect balance of crispy texture on the outside and soft, onion-infused goodness on the inside. The subtle blend of spices elevated the dish, creating a harmonious symphony of taste that left me wanting more.

The main course, the chicken vindaloo, was a culinary masterpiece that took my taste buds on an adventure. The tender pieces of chicken were infused with a rich and fiery vindaloo sauce that packed a delightful punch. The combination of spices was expertly balanced, with each one adding its unique depth to the dish. The heat was just right – enough to excite the palate without overwhelming it, leaving a warm and satisfying sensation with every mouthful.

The restaurant's ambiance was inviting, creating a cozy and comfortable setting to enjoy the delightful meal. The attentive and friendly staff added to the overall positive experience, making the dining occasion feel even more special.

Overall, the onion bhajis and chicken vindaloo made for a perfect combination that truly impressed. The harmonious blend of flavors, the skillful use of spices, and the high-quality ingredients made this dining experience exceptional. If you're a fan of Indian cuisine or simply someone looking to indulge in a flavorsome meal, this restaurant is a must-visit. So good, it's a culinary adventure that will linger in your taste memory, enticing you to return for more delightful...

Despite the high rating of 4.7, I have been a loyal customer of this restaurant for over 20 years. In the last 5 years I have seen the service of this place deteriorate. However, my recent experience was disappointing. I placed an order over the phone and informed the staff that I would pick it up. When I arrived, I asked for my order, but was told that I had to wait for 15 minutes. I explained that I had called 15 minutes ago and was told that the food would be ready, but now I had to wait again. The staff informed me that they were not serving any food until 30 minutes later, even though there were customers already dining in the restaurant. When I questioned the poor service, the staff explained that they were fasting and had stopped serving food, which was said in a very dismissive way. However, the time for breaking the fast was at 18:21, and my visit was at 18:45, so their excuse was clearly a lie. Moreover, their fasting is to please Allah, and using it as an excuse for poor service is unacceptable.

Based on this experience, I have decided not to use this...
