Badu Café is located by a food court with many surrounding amenities. The area is cozy and feels like home - brings a hint of nostalgia with modern interior and the fun & noise outside. It was difficult to rate 4 or 5 stars however Badu Café could make a few improvements: Staff was friendly - definitely but there are few gaps in service - just the small things. Such as the urge to clean up was quite frequent when our table did not finish our food (2 plates). Staff was kind of course, but I believe are missing a few professional points and gestures. Staff occupying space that could be used by other customers could be resolved. Opening & closing times should be made more clearer. Thought it was closing at 7 as suggested on the website however was closing at 6pm. Food could be improved as well - the drink was good but as a small piece of cake, the prices should tie into its quantity. The sandwich was ok but not worth at all: I opted for salmon and cream cheese which costed £4, for a thin simple sandwich with very little filling (As shown in the photo). Overall a solid café that could do with a bit more work but hoping to see improvements! Will be back thank you.

Delicious post swim fuel in the heart of the Olympic Park. The Cafe is warm, friendly and a great selection of food, savory and sweet. It's good value and supports a wonderful cause. Definitely worth a visit

Great for taking the kids after school to read books and have snacks in a family/ community atmosphere. They do great craft activities for the family. Ie. Knitting, painting & making jewelry.

Guys for what happened yesterday it honestly deserves 0 stars but it could have been a bad day. And I did want to send you an email so it's not public but no insta page or email address so here goes. Yesterday, on the 28th of April, we went to get 2 take away coffees. There were 2 people ahead of us. You took the order quick enough and took 35 minutes... thirty fiiiiiive minutes to make 2 lattes. Lads.. that was so frustrating I went through all 5 stages of grief honestly. 3 people working, one should be serving, one should be at the coffee station and the other asking for orders/cleaning etc. The 3 people working there were clueless, like chickens with no heads clueless. There were people waiting on cakes for ages like it was...

This café has a nice atmosphere when you walk in and then you're met with a miserable member of staff who completely ruins the vibe.

I ordered a caramel latte but received a vanilla one; however, it did taste good and was actually hot.

I also ordered a toaster bagel with butter, which was appalling. I paid £3.50 for a Warburtons bagel that was thrown in a panini press so didn't toast, it just warmed and was then spread with flora light and came out soggy. However, the member of staff who made and served the bagel was much friendlier than the other staff member.

My advice would be to try one of the other nearby cafés because this place...
