Oh, The Roasting Shed, where do I even begin? This place is the epitome of hipster pretentiousness, where the coffee is as overpriced as a vintage vinyl record and the staff are as warm and welcoming as a Siberian winter.
Let's start with the coffee. At £3.20 for a flat white, I half expected it to be served in a golden chalice by a barista who had personally handpicked the beans from the slopes of Mount Kilimanjaro.
Which leads me to the staff. They have this sultry, aloof demeanour that makes you feel like you've just interrupted their private poetry reading session. Eye contact? Forget about it.

I’ve seen people complain that there aren’t enough vegan pastry options. It’s a tiny take out coffee shop, not bakery. Chill out. The almond croissant and vegan blondie are amazing!
The staff are super friendly and always have time for a chat. They even have a stash of dog treats which my greedy staffy gets very excited about every time we visit.
Shout out Gina,...
