I’ve been coming to the Roasting Shed at least 3 days a week for over 2 years now. I love these guys. The coffee is always on point. The baristas really care about their craft! I’ve seen people complain that there aren’t enough vegan pastry options. It’s a tiny take out coffee shop, not bakery. Chill out. The almond croissant and vegan blondie are amazing! The staff are super friendly and always have time for a chat. They even have a stash of dog treats which my greedy staffy gets very excited about every time we visit. Shout out Gina, Jun & Elena!

I needed to grab a coffee and 'Bad Coffee' was shut so I thought I'd take a chance and try something different. I am so glad I did! Great spot, especially in the sun, pastry was delicious, but most of all the Finca Las Flores batch brew I had was perfectly juicy fresh and exactly what I needed this afternoon! I'll absolutely be back for more!

Stopped here for a quick coffee while delivering to the Copper box Arena for work. Simply amazing coffee!! Well worth a visit. Never tried the pastries and cakes but looked so good. Thank you again for a 5* coffee. This place is the real deal🙂 Support it!

Oh, The Roasting Shed, where do I even begin? This place is the epitome of hipster pretentiousness, where the coffee is as overpriced as a vintage vinyl record and the staff are as warm and welcoming as a Siberian winter.

Let's start with the coffee. At £3.20 for a flat white, I half expected it to be served in a golden chalice by a barista who had personally handpicked the beans from the slopes of Mount Kilimanjaro.

Which leads me to the staff. They have this sultry, aloof demeanour that makes you feel like you've just interrupted their private poetry reading session. Eye contact? Forget about it.

I did consider relinquishing one of the sorry looking pastries from its counter top hell but they were priced similarly to a month's rent.

They had some lovely ambient music playing but it wasn’t loud enough to cut through the funeral like atmosphere.

To conclude; if you’re into interacting with robot staff first thing in the morning and handing over your wallet for a literal roasting, then you should try out The...

Update:

This review was seen by the team who immediately got in touch, rectified by giving me a replacement posted out to me and offered for me to keep the original. Brilliant customer service.

Original post: Went looking for some ground coffee for a Moka pot. Decent coffee. A little pricier than monmouth or the algerian coffee store. I asked for coffee to be ground for a moka pot which they did in store. Terrible shame that it was way too finely ground. That's £10 down the drain as it doesn't work with my moka pot now. Lovely little local coffee spot anyway. I also had the ice cream with and espresso shot in. Refreshing on a hot...
