Absolutely dreadful and one star is about two too many. Ordered burger and was told it would take 10 minutes for it to be ready. There were two desserts on the menu, but one was out of stock and the other had one left. The burger took 20 minutes to be ready – they said they were very busy –and I was concerned that the cook was barehanded and didn’t appear to wash his hands after handling the meat. I watched as he picked up the burgers off the grill and put them on the buns. The skins-on fries didn’t appear to have skins on and they were over salted. Honestly, I would’ve been more than happy if I had paid 3-4 times that amount in a restaurant for the same burger. If you’re in the area give it a try and support your local business! I’ll be...
Read moreBovine burger is in the Hackney Bridge complex and well worth a visit. If you are not a meat eater, there is a meat free counter a few steps away. The double cheese burger was big, tasty, and juicy, well worth the £10.50. Skin on fries an extra £3.50 but enough for 2 to share unless you are ravenous. The chicken burger was also good with a not overly spicy dressing. The bar is in the same space, so grab a drink and table while waiting for your order...
