The garden is brilliant unfortunately seems that the gardener has the keys to open the garden which in my opinion should be free for everyone. Seems to be only for neighbours really??? Anyway the gardener always find lots of excuses for not to open to the public which is a shame for a lovely garden especially when is that sunny and no one can get in because some silly excuses... Also only opens till 14:45 which is a shame when is the best time lying down on the grass on a green public space where isnt that many around. I really hope this gardener or whoever manage the open times gets retired and be more human and open this beautifull place to have your lunch. Is so sad been going around and see people sitting outside the garden on the floor and the garden empty... Really makes me sick!!! FREE FITZROY...

A large square with a central, circular garden. The gardens in the centre of the square are privately owned, belonging to those who own the freehold of the buildings that surround the square. The western, southern and eastern sides of the square are pedestrianised, with only the northern stretch of the square continuing as a traffic route. When you come across an area without any traffic, without parked cars lining the streets, it is very noticeable how much this improves the experience of walking through the city. Although there were few people walking through the square at the weekend, many of those who did would stop and look at the view, or sit for a while on the seats at the southern side...

Clean, good and expensive area like Cavendish. At least 3 Embassies there and Guy Ritchie owns the biggest home there.

Filming always around the area and at times am told to wait a minute as well as other people before going through. Quiet area and even summer when offices put a tent out for gathering stills sounds quiet eventhough crowded.

Well behaved people. However too small an area to prove more merits. Random security patrol dogs always seen in the area. Thieves please find somewhere else. Romeos and Juliets usually seen disappearing when filming going on because of the...

Lovely place to go for a walk while talking a break from shopping in central London. Nearby there are a lot of decent places to get food ranging from pizza take out to fish restaurants, to Greeks restaurant and ice cream bars. ICCO Pizza is one of my favourite as well as Pescatori; both a few minutes walk.

Elegant architecture designed by Robert Adam, there's a plaque acknowledging him plus a a few blue plaques around signifying notable people having lived there, a few bench seat otherwise quote a few people sat on the concrete in the shade of the trees forvehat looked like their lunch break
