Boots — Local services in London

I generally find the store unpleasant because all the customer service people seem to be so not in a good mood all the time! except the manager, who had dealt with once and another young Asian guy who works in the counter in the middle of the store, who is also pleasant. All the rest of the staff members, I can't comment. My latest experience is around ten days ago, I went to the store to pick up my order, at the same time, I wanted to inform them I didn't need the stuff anymore as the arrival date was too late and I found it in another Boot store. The girl at the counter clearly wasn't happy that she had to do extra work to send the package back. It was just far too obviously presented on her face. She was wearing a headscarf, a pair of glasses, dress in black. Then she typed something on the computer and said it was done. She didn't give me any proof. I didn't ask further as I thought how difficult could this task to be? today, I still see from my Boots APP that the order status didn't change so I walked into the store again to double check. Another lady who served me found the package, the same place where she put it ten days ago. the lady said, "no, it wasn't done". I also found out her name is Hamari or Hamara. Absolutely useless. I work in the hospital next door, imagine I forgot something to the patient! She should be sacked. It is not so much about capability. it is the stinky attitude and the not bothered with the job. I visited this Boots to purchase some medication, and I was appalled by the rude behavior of the staff at the pharmacy counter. When they asked if I wanted a bag, they was yelling with a harsh “yes or no” instead of simply asking politely. I can’t help but wonder if this treatment was because I look Asian, and they assumed I don’t speak English. It’s sad because I have been living here for many years and am fluent in English. I have been a customer here for years and know most of the staff well by now ! Always very friendly and helpful. The pharmacist team are particularly efficient and knowledgeable, and go out of their way to make sure I / customers are given all the facts about their medication and ask the right questions. I always check with them for advice first before calling the surgery for any issue. I think the fact that the staff have mostly been there for some time speaks well for it being a well run store even if stock gets surprisingly low...
