Kidzmania — Attraction in London

This is a late review as it’s been nearly a year since I was here. I came here for my sons birthday with some of his school friends. It was quite crowded on the day but the staff had set up an area with drinks and seats for parents and kids. My sons got hungry before we could go into the party room so I bought some food for them and I was pleasantly surprised, it was tasty and hot. They were able to store the birthday cake and presents in the staff room as there wasn’t a lot of space while we were waiting for the party room to be cleaned. The kids had fun and wanted to stay longer but i as the parent was ready for it to be over lol. They called for the party to go into the party room where I have to say the person who was plating all the food was doing it ever so slowly but then I realised she had lots of time to plate it up while the kids were playing so she took her time so the food looked presentable. The kids food was basic and plain but good for fussy eaters. Drink for the kids was unlimited. I did notice that the room was a bit smelly from the kids party before but the staff cleaned it well. The room is small and parents stand around but you’re not in there too long to complain. Overall my son had a ball and although it may seem like 2 hours isn’t a lot - it’s plenty of time for the kids as my kids were completely knocked out by the time we got home. All his friends seemed to of had a blast too. This is a cute little soft play place and 1 of only a small amount. Unfortunately I do not live in the area anymore and I’ve noticed a good soft play is hard to find. I hope they stay opened as this is a good one especially if you live in the area. My granddaughter birthday party was held here, the place is dirty , the seating area was so narrow we’re the kids sat down the food that the kids had was just sad cheap dry pizza chips not much better asked for paper plate’s after cake was cut only to be told they don’t have any the lady said most people bring there own plates at that price you have to bring your own paper plates which you could have got from pound shop you knew we was coming, no hot food for adult’s to purchase you can go outside for food but can’t eat it inside so if it’s raining your stuffed , if you are looking for a party for your kids please don’t bother with this place have a picnic in the park instead….. in response to your reply the sitting area is to narrow adults have a walk sideways to get to any child that needed help, do you actually show the person booking the quality of the food that your serving because at nearly £400 why do you feel the need to go for the cheapest kids food that you can get and we did eat the dry lifeless pizza as I don’t like food waste and we did decline you cooking anything for us as we knew just by looking at the kids food the quality wasn’t going to be great and no doubt over priced, as for the cleanliness of the place it’s not clean toilets were dirty floors not clean in fact the whole place just looks run down as for paper plates yes they was informed but sadly forgot them but as I’ve said at £400 you still declined to help with paper plates how sad 😞 just to make things clear the lady that had this party wasn’t informed about bringing her own plates i though she had forgotten but she hadn’t she was just not informed that she had to...

Surely most kids will just enjoy 'indoor soft play' areas like this as they are oblivious to problems adults may find. The facility itself is temporary and is smaller than the original building. The play area is generally clean but the underneath of the 'soft play balls' are mostly overlooked. I would say the whole facility is a bit filthy if you are picky. The toilets are not maintained to standard. There are only 5 staff at most of the time: the receptionist, the cafe attendant, a crew at the play area who also serves as the waiter, the cook in the kitchen, and the supervisor/manager who helps everywhere. It is notable that they are under pressure at busy times that would probably be the reason why they look so miserable. I asked the lady at the cafe if how long the food I ordered would be ready and she answered, "I don't know, I don't work at the kitchen." Rude words that were expressed so rudely. I would have appreciated, "I'm sorry I don't know, may you please ask the kitchen instead?" I then asked the lady at the kitchen who answered "I don't know, it will be served when it's ready. I'm very busy." She didn't seem to be in a hurry. She could have answered, "Probably in 10 minutes or longer, I'm really sorry if I can't say exactly how long." Clearly they don't value customer service and don't have work ethics at all. The food from the kitchen is rubbish anyway, not even comparable to anything else. I would suggest eating out at a reputable restaurant to avoid disappointment. Having said that, the place is still nice for...
