The see of the catholic archbishop of southwark dedicated to St George patron saint of England was badly damaged during the blitz and substativly rebuilt. Today there was ordination to the order of deacons. The church was the site of St John Paul II administration of the Sacrement of the Sick during his pastoral visit in May 1982. Read moreIt is sad that the priest who says the mass in Spanish has not clue a bout getting the followers. Today sunday palm's day and with the amount of worshippers, he failed to give us a beautiful mass. His horrible singing killed the magic of the mass. He should be more appreciative that the church's followers want a mass that is emotional and get into our hearts but this priest is rubbish at his job, the lack of enthusiasm towards arranging such an important day in the Catholic calendar, and the only thing he was worried was about the leaves of the palms vase taken away when he failed to give it to the worsdshippers at the beginning of the mass, causing confusion among us. His speech at the mass was a total failure of a great delivery. Never I will come back to his mass. Thumbs down to him. Please get us a different Spanish speaker priest. This Ecuatorian priest had not passion and love for his devotion...
