Flowers of the Forest — Restaurant in London

I wish I could rate this 0. I went in with my friends, who have just moved to the area and were looking for a friendly local but we were so mistaken. They both ordered expensive respectable drinks (double tequila tonic and double gin and tonic) at the price of £12 each! I have heart surgery tomorrow and couldn’t drink, so they took me out to distract me from my anxiety. When the bartender asked for my order I said “I’m okay for now thank you!” and the bartender proceeded to say “That’s the wrong answer. You have to order a drink, this isn’t a waiting room love.” I looked in shock because I have never been treated this way and almost thought he must be joking with this rude attitude, and he turned back to me and said “You look confused is something wrong?” In an extremely rude tone. Bare in mind the place was completely empty, we weren’t stealing seats and my friends ordered respectably expensive drinks! He was just so vile, I would absolutely not recommend this...

When I walked in with my wife the music literally stopped. We were staying at the H10 and wanted to play pool and have drinks. We asked if they had a drink menu for beers and they laughed and said this is a pub. We sat down and debated if we wanted to stay while the bartender laughed at us and then recommend we go to Waterloo for drinks. Which we did, what a way to lose a customer and no pool for us oh well. Be careful guys when entering this place. The bar staff is ok, but the owners of the pub who are drinking on the other side is agressive and mean. They will tell you that because you are not coming here often enough - you need to follow THEIR rules. The blond old lady is very aggressive and is ready for a conflict,asking for it! Have not been treated that bad anywhere...
