St. Mary's Gate — Attraction in London

We booked a 3 night stay way back in February. We had been before and the rooms/food were great. This time unfortunately it was awful.....upon arrival we were told the pub would be closed 90% of the time and they were not serving food at all. We had arranged on the Thurs and Fri to meet friends there for food and drinks,the whole reason we stayed there,but couldn't. So had to make new arrangements at last minute. Disgusting, they should have phoned us and pre warned us that we would be getting nothing that was promised. We stayed in a pub/restaurant for a reason and we were completely let down. The breakfast was served but extremely limited, if you didn't want a fry up you were disappointed as I was. Also the WiFi in the room was not working at all and the room was very dusty. Only had cups/glasses and new towels on 2nd day. Emailed the manager and nothing was said or done apart from telling us they had staffing issues. Well unfortunately that is not our fault. We were extremely let down and ruined our stay. It's a shame as we will never be going back and I am sure they ha e lost a lot of custom and tbh...

This gate is a masterpiece of gate. I don't think that many people spend too much attention on it since it can look as just a transition from the park to the town and vice versa. But in truth it's already itself a piece of art in between the traditional and beautiful Greenwich town, the marvellous park and even the museum on the other side.
