M&S Simply Food — Local services in London

Late but needed to post…I was shopping in the area with my baby on New Years Eve. I frequently shop at another M&S closer to my house, but didn’t have time to go to that location- regret it. I purchased a cloth reusable bag at my home store. So on this day when I walked into the Cutty location with the bag (already full of items purchased from another store), I didn’t expected to get racially profiled by one of the workers. I grabbed a couple of items and kept in eye view at the checkout. Once I paid and packed the items in my existing bag and started to head towards the exit with my baby. I had my AirPods in, when I saw a worker flagging me down. I thought they were trying to be kind b/c they saw me struggling to carry my stuff and push the baby pram. Instead I got greeted by “that bag will be £6, thanks”. I couldn’t believe the nerve - I replied, “and? This is mine!” I know there are tons of ppl going in and out of the area, but to assume that I stole the bag that I walked with was insulting. AVOID this...

I use to buy many things due my place of work is just infront to there. Also, I have bought many things for my boss like the fruit. Today I was on my break lunch and I went to buy fruit for me and burguers brioge orderded for my boss. He use to buy this burguers in M&S almost every week. So I went to the place where they used to be. They weren't there today, I asked to one old woman with white hair but first I made a signal upped my arm (sorry I'm Spanish I have a costume to ask making signals, expressing...) and the old woman answered me that she couldn't help no one who call her to this way. Sorry? It weren't unpolite it were very friendly, I did it even with my best smile. Finally I spoke with the guy infront the door. Who suggested me to answer with this lady, but I said to him no and the reason . He showed me really polite the way, the burgers were in other place. Thanks good, some people aren't lazy and they know what is the respect for...

Sat 21/4 Disappointed that M&S didnt hold my Extremely Chocolate Birthday Cake. You lost out on money as I went to Sainsburys instead.

Have M&S forgotten how to teach managers to be empathetic or apologise.

Fri 20/4 Alright store. Nothing to write home about. Its just a food shop. Could had been a market stall if I didn't look up and read the sign.

BLT sarnie is well overpriced. 3.80. Whereas Bluewater its 2.80. How the hell did you pull that one off M&S? Isn't that illegal?

Sarnies don't taste like they used to taste 3 years ago. Hardly flavoursome.And customer service - what customer service? Just the usual 'rub your face' action to cameras when you see me....
