Read moreWe visit Goddards twice a during last London visit. Better than ever. One sweet little blond waitress walked us all the way to Greenwich train station, since cutty sark was closed. She was the sweetest little lady have forgotten her name, but we lover her. Please mention her and thanks so much for your help. She is the little freckled faced blond angel that takes orders. Please tell her thanks from bottom of our heart( the old dilapidated ranching couple from Texas). Actually only the old man was dilapidated, lady was a vivacious beautiful wife of 60 year years. Food service and total experience was outstanding. Want to especially thank the other beautiful blond waitress and th wonderful big hunk waiter who cleaned up the mess when i( the clubfooted old man who spilled his order trying to manage the littl stairs to back room). They replaced the order without even asking. These people are a credit to the human race and a superior credit to London and agree with. Love them and the wonderful restaurant so very much. If can live long enough to return to London, Goddards of Greenwich will be first place to...

It was great value for money, fun to feel like it was “the good old days”, and even though there were lots of people, we still found a seat (though we saw some people sharing tables with strangers - just a warning if you’re not into that). The lady who served us was also really friendly and kept us updated when we had to wait for our eels, also advising us what it would be best to get.
Bonus: we also got the lamb and rosemary pie. Not a lot of chunks of lamb but where there were, they were perfectly cooked 👌At £5 for a huge plate, you can’t really go wrong. also,...
