I recently visited the LEGO Store, and while my overall experience was just okay. The staff, although polite, seemed to be missing the infectious joy and excitement that should come with working at a LEGO Store. I couldn't help but notice the absence of smiles or laughter during my interaction with them. While professionalism is important, a bit more warmth and enthusiasm could have elevated the experience.

I understand that not everyone working in a LEGO store may be a die-hard fan, but a bit more enthusiasm could have elevated the experience. It's not just about doing the job; it's about creating an atmosphere that resonates with LEGO enthusiasts and potential customers alike.

I was in a pickle, needed a gift in 30 mins since my first gift in another store hadn’t arrived. A lovely lady called Catherine (I think) helped me and before I got to the till I asked the till girl (Hannah) if they do wrapping. I explained the situation and how tight I was and she offered to wrap it if I bought the wrapping and somehow refused money and free food. Unlike any other store I’ve ever ask, she went above and beyond to help me out.

I would recommend anyone to go there just for her as she was super funny, helpful, charismatic and the embodiment of peak customer service. She wrapped a Lego phone in a pink Barbie wrapping and the birthday guy loved it. She was an outright star of the day and I expect to see her get promoted from this alone as I’d only come back to buy if she’s working. If she ever tries to leave, promote her to stay because she is amazing.
