One of the most fun, insane experiences I’ve had doing something like this.
We showed up at opening time on Saturday 29th March, with a booking for myself and three friends to play mini golf. Sammi at reception was a great introduction into what we were getting ourselves in for, explained everything, plus it was one of our friends birthday so Sammi let us have a free game of pool to start before we got into mini golf which was really appreciated and a kind gesture that put us in a great mood for the fun to come!
We then made our way to the bar where Saffire and Chloe were ready to help! They had such a good vibe for the venue, they were fun, helpful and also really informed on all of our ridiculous questions about the drinks and venue and games! Saffire offered a shot to our friend for his birthday and also recommended some really tasty drinks that we ended up getting more of later because they were that good, and I don’t even really drink!
We then played pool, and Saffire came and told us about the ‘Shlong station’ where everyone could draw a character ‘schlong’ and if it was good enough it would get on the wall. Our friend group immediately took this challenge which was so fun, with paper and pencils on the table we took the time and heavy amount of detail to get the ‘best schlong’! Saffire rated and graded our drawings and we all successfully made it to the wall which we held in great pride!
We finally headed over to mini golf which went so above and beyond every expectation I had of this place. Every hole had such a great intricate theme with fun designs and playful set ups in each! You would head round the corner and have no idea what the next hole was gonna be! Our favourite hole was the ‘House BJ’ with the fake DJ decks for us to mess around with! Throughout our game Saffire would come round to everyone playing asking if we needed drinks so we stayed refreshed throughout the whole time!
As our game came to an end we jumped in the photobooth to catch some memories, plus Saffire gave myself and my friend the cutest little frog which we got to take home, then we made sure to buy a pin badge each to remember the day aswell!
Overall this experience was incredible! Every single person in there cared about giving us a great experience, not just because it was a birthday but because they genuinely wanted to! The whole place is so well decorated with so many hidden jokes and funny things to find! The drinks were all so tasty too!
So yes, go for the fun and very provocative mini golf, but stay for the great people, tasty drinks and just a really good time!
Thank you so much to Saffire, Sammi, and Chloe for the unforgettable experience, if we didn’t leave 4 hours away we would...
Read moreI love the concept of this, the ideas are really funny. The staff were friendly and happy to have a chat. It was very quiet when we visited on a weekday evening, which I think affected the atmosphere, I think maybe some music or even different lighting would help combat this. I can imagine it is really fun on a busier day with a livelier atmosphere, so probably good for hen/stag dos. The course could be a little more interesting, some of the holes were fun and imaginative but others were a little underwhelming. The course could generally do with some TLC as some areas appear to need repairing through general wear and tear. Overall we did enjoy our visit and thought it was good value, but it could have been improved by being in better condition, with a more vibrant ambience, and with possibly some rethinking of some...
Read moreIt’s alright. The decor and theming now is very unique for mini golf. But the courses themselves aren’t that great. A lot of them are “ramp courses” where you hit up a narrow ramp and hope for the best. So it’s a bit frustrating at times honestly.
It’s also looking a bit vandalised. There’s a bunch of signs warning people not to graffiti. But so many walls and props are covered in pencil scribbles and stuff. Some of the props have been damaged or stolen. One of the courses was damaged and had had a unintentional hole in the wall which our ball went into and was hard to get out.
So it was all just looking a bit tired and worn down which is weird cos it’s not even that old.
Still, it’s alright and probably worth experiencing if you like mini golf. But was a bit let down...
