New China - Southsea — Attraction in Portsmouth

So these our go to one ,deffo for there prawn toast,most takeaways are hit or miss,but these have be consistant ,I dont over phase my self like I used to in my younger years lol ,one because I end up wasting it,and 2 chinese is so expensive as if other take aways..so a few tips if you like,order from there website rather than 3rd party,we saved a tenner,with the usual order we would buy,and 2 share the mix starter for one,then a rice or noodle,or both then something else,you get free prawn crackers..you wont be sorry!,..for 2 we actually spent 30 quid and no waste as it was so good .. we got hot and sour soup,mixed starter (includes seaweed,)_ and crispy chillibeef and singapore rice ..and the prawn crackers....) 2 meat pancake rolls .. the mixed starter ,has chcken satay which is huge,rib,mini spring roll ,huge prawn toast and...

First time trying this take away and unfortunately the last. Really disappointing! They say orders over £15 have free delivery, but when you go to the check out, you get charged £1.50 for a delivery & service charge, even after spending almost £30. The food wasn't great too, chicken dishes were all really dry and overcooked. But I feel the biggest rip off was the 'Deep Fried Crab Claws' which, like anyone, you would imagine crab claws, deep fried, right? Wrong, they were this unpleasant doughy mush, with barely a trace of crab meat to be seen, accept for a hard, sharp piece of a crab claw bone pushed inside, as you can very much see from the pictures. I think this was the first time ever! That I've actually ended up throwing almost a whole take away, away for being so unpleasant. Really feel...

First time using this takeaway tonight. Excellent right from the start I phoned for my order after picking up a menu left outside their front door on a Sunday morning while visiting southsea farmers market. The lady answered phone quickly and brilliant no language barrier didn't have to keep repeating myself. Explained they were busy and delivery would be about an hour and half. And it was, but we'll worth the wait. The food was hot, the portion of meat in the dishes was fantastic so really tasty. I will definitely use this takeaway again and urge people to give them a try. And just to add the delivery man was excellent...
