Went to see the Tez Ilyas show (incredible btw - my cheeks are still hurting from laughing so much) and cannot fault the venue. It's relatively small and intimate, perfect for a comedy show as you feel close to the action. Tiered seating results in excellent views. Leg space not great but adequate. Small selection of drinks and packeted nibbles. Big car parks about 10-min walk away and lots of restaurants close-by too.

Just gets better Another great act at the venue. This time, Jon Boden's brilliant solo gig. Just brilliant but the Centre crew as always add to the magic. Lovely people ... and the choice of local ales is the icing on the cake. Homeward bound with big smiles on our faces. Another big shout for the bar staff, especially at the interval. Multi-tasking marvels.

We watched comedian Paul Foot here. Small theatre with good tiered seating. Bar available for pre show and interval drinks. What I liked most was ( at time of writing) free parking after 6pm on the same street as the venue. Arrive early and you can easily walk into town for a meal.

Reliable Reading stalwart for comedy, theatre and music, staffed by ebullient regulars to ensure it's always a good night. 2 performance areas and a small bar with good prices and a line in craft ale. Latest is a creative response to Covid, both on stage with stories of sheltering, and in presentation with super safe perspex boxes to separate the audience from the actors and from each other. Essential.. Get yourself a membership. March 2022 still producing winning lineups with comedy showcase partnerships. Get...

Lovely little centre to watch a show, its small with stepped seating so you get a great view and feel close to the stage. They offer shows for children and adults, I've already booked to see another one. There is a cafe/bar area which has good coffee, and they do snacks like crisps and small tubs of ice cream, but don't offer food. There isn't a car park but there are parking meters on the nearby roads, and I'm told its around 10min walk from the...

Really great theatre - so refreshing to be able to get draft beer at a theatre with not one, but three taps! The location is fairly convenient (walking distance from the Oracle carpark). The inside of the auditorium itself is well-spaced out - it feels as though every seat in the house has a good view, and the stage itself is impressively large for a venue of this size (not that the performance we saw particularly...
