Absolutely Disgusted with the Treatment at Iceland Paradise Sheffield Today the 19th of Feb.
I am beyond disappointed with my experience at Iceland Paradise next to Monkey Business in Sheffield. I visited with my family, including my six-year-old, two-year-old, and a baby under two, and was absolutely shocked at how we were treated.
We paid Ā£21.25 for a game of mini-golf and barely stayed 30 minutes before being told to leave. As soon as the staff, Kelly and Claire Lidesey, saw our young children learning to play, they immediately started watching us like hawks. They claimed they had seen us āmoving from one place to anotherā and that they were ānot happyā with how we were playing. Excuse me? This is mini-golf, not a high-stakes tournament!
We were then rudely told that since we had reached the 18th and 19th hole, we had to finish and leaveāas if we had done something wrong. To make matters worse, one of our kids didnāt even play, yet we were still charged full price.
Both Kelly and Claire Lidesey were extremely patronizing and spoke to me as if I was worthless. Instead of handling the situation professionally, they were rude, dismissive, and defensive, backing each other up while completely disregarding me as a paying customer. When I left and returned to return the golf balls, they were smirking and laughing among themselvesācompletely unprofessional and outright disrespectful.
I have never been treated so badly in a business where I PAID for a service. It was clear that families with young children are not welcome here, despite no prior warning or policy stating that younger kids canāt play. If this is how they run their business, they donāt deserve...

This means that you feel rushed to play crazy golf with the kids and other people look upset because my autistic son took too long to put the ball.
The place was far too hot it was so uncomfortable and when your spending £30 for a family of 4 surely they should have air conditioning?
It really ruined a lovely day coming here because we went to see Jurassic World Dominion in IMAX which was amazing so I thought I would bring the kids here to enjoy a couple more hours of there day and it was spoilt.
There were loads of customers that we felt rushed by which is unfair, both my 10 and 11 year old son have learning difficulties and was struggling and getting anxious because they felt like people was staring at them because they took a while to put the ball...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreParadise Island is conveniently located at Valley Centertainment with ample parking and regular supertram services from Meadowhall shopping centre and Sheffield City Centre. Adventure golf at Paradise Island differs from what you may consider as traditional crazy golf, in so much as there are less obstacles and the course is much more undulating with holes often at a different level to that which your ball starts at. Both courses present challenges in their own way and have enough about them to challenge both kids and adults alike. technically, groups are up to 4 people and a maximum of 6 strokes per hole, but you can just about guarantee that somebody in the group will need more than that at least once on your way round. Would definitely recommend this as a fun way to...
