Amazing 𤩠but not for the faint hearted! Fantastic actors - absolutely superb. Incredible history & very immersive. Donāt go unless you donāt mind being picked on! Iāve been several times & have been banished to a cage, used as an example for plague treatment & also put in the dock! All great fun but can be a little nerve wracking, adds to the very dark atmosphere. Loads of jump scares too - itās so well done.
Itās sold as a river journey but youāre only in a boat for the first 10 minutes max, the rest is on foot.
Not for kids under say 11 - seen so many little ones in there who are absolutely petrified...

This attraction is shorter than the other ones in the UK - consisting of 6 scenes and 1 boat ride, with a run time of around 45 mins.
The actors are very good, with the usual interaction as found in other Dungeons.
My only complaint with this Dungeon is that the sets (whilst very good) are not 360°, meaning that there are a lot of blank walls. This potentially could take away from the "immersive" feeling that other...

My 10 year old found bits loud and scary, but still enjoyed the experience. Would definitely go again. We 'won' a free pass for 4 people from the dressed up Alton Staff characters for doing a round of impressions, so only needed to pay £10 for the 5 of us. Money we'll spent! The actors are fab-...
