Not covid secure!! Very poor Staff I would say there was one younger lad who had the skills to run the place and the rest were useless, poor attitude and not wanting to help atall. I paid £7 something for 2 ice-creams (seafront prices) but what made me put this review wasn't the bad attitude it was the lack of cleanliness. No gloves no hand washing no nothing. Took my money gave me change then with the same hand immediately after put my flake straight in the top I couldn't believe it. As a local we use this cafe on a regular basis, The cafe is not only spoilt for choice as where to sit but also the lovely menu of snacks and drinks, The staff young and old are always pleasent and polite, or so we thought, we went for our usual cuppa the other day to be greated by an older sturn face lady, who not only was she rude but spent the whole time huffing and puffing,.. This one member of staff should not be allowed to spoil the hard work of everyone else and the reputation they have work hard for.. Takeaway coffee- flat white - Yuck!

Exceptionally hot cup of coffee, the first sip unbearably hot, scolded inside of my mouth despite being cautious and taking a tiny sip first. Had to wait quite a while (with the lid off) to be able to take a second sip without scolding inside of my mouth again.

Coffee tasted really bitter, quite an unpleasant, nasty after taste. Had 4 maybe 5 sips and threw the rest away.

Bought a cold drink further down the beach instead.
