First Visit - Great atmosphere, very busy at lunchtime. Has a fab shabby chic vintage interior with lots of vintage, kitsch pictures, artwork on the walls and large vintage industrial metal and chintzy fringed light fittings. Unmatched vintage, vintage look dark wood tables and chairs and sofas. Standard menu, gluten free menu and vegan menu. You can order at your table or at the counter. I'm a lone traveller so prefer some human interaction so chose to order at the counter from the vegan menu. Unfortunately, they didn't have 3 of the 6 vegan mains listed including the one I wanted. So I left disappointed and ended up in a packed Wetherspoons who did have the curry(microwave meal) I ordered. Would have been nice to have been told about the unavailable items on entry by the member of staff that greeted me. Second Visit - I checked if there were any items not available, arrived approximately 530pm, very empty which was fine. Sat in the small garden area out the back. Ordered the vegan aubergine flat bread £9.75. Waiting time for food not long. Flar bread well presented and very tasty, was not disappointed. Glad I gave this place a second go. My parents also had flat breads and sweet potato fries £4.20(which I thought were very over priced as the portion was quite stingy).

So we arrived in Weymouth Sunday morning looking for somewhere for breakfast and stumbled on the Nautico Lounge. Entrance was inviting so went in and was pleasantly surprised by the ambiance of the place and the spacious interior. Quickly seated it didn’t take long to choose from the delicious sounding menu as we were ready for breakfast. We choice to use the QR code which was on the menu and a stand up placard on the table. My tea was served in a quaint pot and the wife said the coffee was lovely. Food arrived promptly and having ordered a large breakfast I was not disappointed. Bonus points for having the eggs on the toast (not requested lol). The food was piping hot too. Which isn’t always the case when ordering a breakfast in my experience! My wife said her ‘Lounge Eggs’ were cooked beautifully, the white was set and the yolks runny. 👌🏼 Food eaten and having gotten just over two cups of tea out of my pot. We were feeling happy. Gayle was so impressed with the coffee she ordered a second while I was finishing my large brekky. All in all for an unplanned visit to stubble across the Nuctico Lounge was a goood find and I recommend it. Lunch and evening menu look good too. 👍🏼

I have been to Tarro a handful of times and from my experience I cannot fault them at all aside from a starter not coming as described on one occasion. Having said that I haven't used the bar very much and other reviews seem to be very critical of the bar service. I highly recommend the breakfast, one of the best cooked breakfasts I've had in any café or restaurant. Update: Ordered the buttermilk chicken today. I was not expecting to attend a cremation this morning; the breadcrumb shell was borderline burnt and the meat was dry and tough - I pitty the Tarro cutlery which had much difficulty trying to cut through it. The accompanying slaw was okay, although lacking moisture in my opinion. The fries, chipotle mayo and onion rings (side) did redeem the meal somewhat. As usual with Tarro, the service was brisk yet pleasant. I'm surprised they were able to cook the chicken so thoroughly in such a short amount of time! I look forward to sampling more of their menu.

"A fresh and vibrant environment with an abstract contemporary twist"

Seating outside looks like something from a quaint tea room somewhere, with random colours and mismatched furniture, but this inviting vibrancy persuades you in through the big heavy door to show off what the owners have done inside.

Space and the vibrant random furniture theme continues throughout, with interesting artwork and mirrors dotted around the walls, along with lighting to compliment the decor.

We have been here many times, as it’s great for a quick drink and catch up, or somewhere to eat. Ordering at the bar is simple enough, not unlike any other bar type environment. I would suggest grabbing a table first if it’s busy, unless you like standing around with drinks in hand. That’s not to say it’s always busy and crammed in here.

Sunday morning cooked breakfast was delightful and as one would expect, although maybe they should revise how they serve tea (pots), as their sizes don’t quite match the size of cups they’re poured in to. Not that I drink tea; I’m a coffee person and they’re served in a cup straight from the bar.

Sometimes I get the impression the staff can seem distracted at times when there are customers waiting, but nevertheless they are very personable, friendly and welcoming. It could have been a busy period beforehand, but it in no way does it distract from the fun and vibrant environment this venue offers.

Walking by and fancy a drink? Pop in, you won’t be disappointed, especially if you grab a comfy sofa to sit on. Fancy some food? Why not; they offer a good menu selection, even for light bites or children.

As locals, I’ll be always popping in to Tarro, so I’ll see you in there again really soon!

A credit to Hinckley town and the surrounding...

Never go here, arrived at 745pm, slow to take orders, an hour and 10 minute wait, were not told until daughter had ordered. Needed to pick up someone at 10pm, 30 miles away,so when daughter ordered and was told that, we had to wait at least an hour, we asked if it was going to be an hour, they said, should be 45minutes.The guy took our ticket from the pass and returned them, back, you can see the pass, from the table we were sat at, didn't look like the order, we were originally were, when they said 45 minutes, we thought we could risk it and Decided to stay, turned up at 9.01pm, wouldn't of minded if food was hot and of good quality, neither was the case. We ordered a bacon and sausage sandwich and fries, bread was stale hard and bacon and sausages were cold. The person in front of us got there dinner 35 minutes before ours and three other couples got theirs that ordered a good 15 minutes after us. Manager was rubbish, whilst the other male staff tried to help. Eventually got a refund, I have never complained before anywhere, but, the prices they charged, you expect quality service and quality ingredients. On a positive note, I would say, they were sterilising all tables, before turning them round for other people. Also if you order a takeaway, the you would be guaranteed to get it at the time you asked as, 7 take out orders were done whilst we were waiting. My daughter ordered the vegetarian breakfast, cold, mushrooms burnt and egg was like rubber, toast cold, the only thing she ate was the vegetarian sausage. We managed to pick up our family member at 10:10pm. All the best if you chose to go and my advice take a 600 page novel or a pack of...

I had the pleasure of having lunch with my wife at this wonderful restaurant and I cannot recommend it enough. From the moment we walked in, we were greeted with warm hospitality and impeccable service.

The menu offered a wide range of options, and each dish we ordered was cooked to perfection. The food was not only delicious, but also beautifully presented. It was evident that the chef had put a lot of care and attention into every dish.

We particularly enjoyed the tonics and coffee, which were of exceptional quality. The tonics were perfectly balanced and refreshing, while the coffee was rich and flavorful.

The ambiance of the restaurant was also lovely, with a cozy and intimate atmosphere that made us feel right at home. The décor was tasteful and understated, adding to the overall charm of the place.

What really set this restaurant apart, however, was the exceptional service. Our waiter was knowledgeable and attentive, making sure that we had everything we needed throughout our meal. The staff as a whole was friendly and welcoming, creating a truly enjoyable dining experience.

Overall, I would highly recommend this restaurant to anyone looking for a fantastic dining experience. The quality of the food, service, and atmosphere make it a must-visit spot for anyone in the area. I can't wait to return and try more dishes...
