On entering the building there was the usual noise of hustling and bustling. Families and friends settling down to enjoy a hot drink inside, away from the downpour outside.
It was a welcoming atmosphere and a great addition that they allow dogs inside.
Although service was relatively slow, it was probably ample time for first-time customers to peruse the menu and decide from one of the vast selection of drinks available.
There is a selection of lovely fresh food on offer as well as a range of cakes and sweet treats.
My partner decided to buy a bar of dark chocolate for £1, which he mentioned was delicious and paired nicely with his Columbian roast Americano which had notes of chocolate and berries (+30p for the roast).
I decided to have a matcha latte. This was creamy and not overwhelming in taste. The large cups are more than enough to keep you going for a while. Excellent value drinks which are delicious.

I chose this place at while walking past for us to go have lunch, on the 29th of June around 2pm so this is a message to the Amazing Staff who where working there on this day at that time. The Staff where Amazing, so kind and Welcoming up for a laugh and Joke just in general created an Amazing environment to be in. The coffee the beautiful young lady made for me and My family was Amazing I got the Caramel Macchiato(got a bit of caramel sauce on top), my brother the Mocha and My Mum and Dad Cappuccinos. They where all Made beautifully. And the food was Awesome really good I got myself the Roasted Mediterranean Vegetable Toasty and It came with a Side salad topped with a Beautiful vinaigrette. Also a homemade protein bar it was Gorgeous. This used to be my favourite spot in Weymouth—the staff were always the friendliest I’d come across, apart from one individual who consistently seemed unhappy and unfit for front-of-house duties. Today confirmed my feelings. I asked for a raspberry croissant—the only vegan-friendly option available—and was refused because it was "too hot." Ironically, I was served scalding hot coffee ... so the logic didn’t quite hold up.
I found the attitude rude and unnecessarily dismissive. As a manager, engaging respectfully with customers and maintaining eye contact shouldn’t be a challenge—it should be the baseline. Leadership sets the tone, and unfortunately, this wasn’t it.
