I would like to say thank you to the town of Aberdeen into the mayor of Aberdeen for letting us have our Easter egg hunt at the park we had well over 200 some people we serve hot dogs and hamburgers and it was different organizations giving out Easter meals and taking communion we had church service we had gospel singers and we had a lovely dancer I would like to say thank you to ShopRite to Frito-Lay the Panera Bread and two other organizations who donated to Love Culture church for our successful first Easter egg hunt in Aberdeen Maryland love love and God bless thank you to Pastor Richard green and to mr. Read moreIt is indeed a beautiful area to ride a bike or walk or just go hang out with friend's and family there is a playground and a nice big open space and area but I wish there was more to do and more events and didn't take months to replace a simple Statue A.k.a the eagle statue and I wish Mayor Patrick Mcgrady would ACTUALLY start putting the money down to actually start getting stuff done around here in Aberdeen and be as great as Havre De Grace instead of always just talking about what is gonna be done put it money whr ur mouth is sum will understand that saying while others won't.. but God help Aberdeen if he wins this 3rd term...
Read moreI hung out in this park for a few hours in the afternoon waiting for my Amtrak train to arrive. I found it to be a very enjoyable, safe park to just sit on a bench and read for awhile. The music they play is varied and is kind of an interesting touch for a smaller town. It is within walking distance from two different gas stations and there are public restrooms available inside the park. There is a playground for the kids and plenty of benches and picnic tables.
