Aberdeen Thrift City — Attraction in Aberdeen

I went into Aberdeen Thrift City on 09/22/2024. As I entered the store, an elderly lady was coming out. she let go of the dorr and as it swung in to close i grabbed it and opened it just before it did close. but this movement caused a set of over sized rusty bells hanging on the door to hit my knee very hard. it was painful and I noticed there are several other bells on the door. I politely told the lady working the counter that all the bells on the door were fine. but that the heavy oversized bells hit me hard in my knee and they should remove that one string of bells as it is unsafe and just hurt me. she did not apologize and just said my manager hung them. i said if i were you i would make an executive decision and remove the hazard until you can get with your manager. she said nothing. I did my shopping around and noticed the lady telling another young lady working what happened so I just politely repeated to the other employee that they should remove the over sized large bells as they hit me on my way in and hurt me. she did not apologize either and just said no one else has complained about it. seriously. what if the bells hit the elderly ladies knees and took her to the ground. this is not professional behavior. I was not asking or looking for a discount. nor was I complaining about something silly like how dirty the place is or the over priced broken furniture. I was letting them know I was hurt by the bells and that they should be removed. there is no need for that many bells hanging on a swinging door. especially ones that hang halfway down the door below the handle and are four or five bells larger then my fist. This is an awesome store. I went to buy furniture for my new home from t Furniture World ..I was quoted 4800 for bedroom. Set not including the bed and box spring. Let's just say I furnished my new home and everything thing came from Thrift City . A couch for 80 bucks wow a chair for 8.00 .I used to go almost daily I spent at least more than 2000 there it was my daily fix i had to go see what they had . ONLY ONE THING HAPPENED THE BIG WHITE BLOND GIRL WAS RUDE YELLED AT ME IN FEONT OF CUSTOMER AND TOLD ME HOW I SHOILD ACT ETC. THEN TOLD.ME.TO.TIP.HER . SHE NEEDS TO.GO R EALLY SHE IS RUDE ROLLS HER EYES TALK UNDER HER BREATH AND I MAKE ME.FEEL UNCOMFORTABLE NO MORE THRIFTING THERE TELL SJE GETS HESELF FIRED A ll the other staff are polite pleasant and friendly why is she allowed to act like that without consequences COME ONPATTY WHITE GIRL IS HOLDING THIIS STORE BAGK...

Imreal sick of going to this store spending my money and then going home with a bag full of clothes that dont fit nor did i want. The workers are stealing and the shop lifters are sick. I no what i buy. Why woulf i purcase size 16. Pants when i no i wear an eight or a 2x shirt when i werar a med. Or somedays i come home with childrens clothing. Im 62 years old. Ive seen alot in my life time but this is ridiculous. I cant believe the owner dont look into this. Also dont try to return anything that you didnt buy because they argue and will not return money. The things they have are donated they should be happy to return money if you purchase an item that they replaced so there freinds, family members can come get it after work.
