I'm going to start with. On my way out to my car, my family met the owner. HE WAS A VERY SWEET MAN! COMPASSION FOR HIS CUSTOMERS, AND UNDERSTANING. I truly like his vibe. Ok bad part.. The food is very BLAND. Pretty much everything has ZERO flavor. Even the aqua frescas (horcha) was EXTREMELY flat..tasted like watered down horcha..most definitely needed more lechera. My husband had a basic shrimp fajitas.. he could barely eat it as he said it tasted like boiled peppers with shrimp, and a dash of oil. I had a seafood soup (7 mares)..and even that wasn't made correctly, had none of the correct ingredients, and they added NO seasoning. I myself had to add lemon, salt, hot sauce..and even then ...nope I had to demand a refund because there was no use to eating something I wasn't going to enjoy. Will NOT return. P.s. The owners daughter was very RUDE..even he said he is ready to fire her. He told me I wasn't the only customer to complain about her. His words. Also the owner said she was bad for...
Read moreAfter reading reviews hubby and I went for dinner. It was Friday night and the parking lot was packed. To us this is a good sign. We ordered a ton of things just to try. A seafood soup for hubby. Tacos. Fajitas. Pupusa. Our opinion is.......we had to go back on Saturday! Omg this place is amazing! Addressing some of the complaints I remember reading is going to be easy. The origin of these dishes is Salvador. A country that has limited resources. If your food has to be hidden behind an entire spice rack full of "flavor" you are missing the point of "authentic food". Complaints about servers? You get what you give. They have been kind, helpful, and have great suggestions from the menu. Tamales were soggy? Nope. They actually make Masa from scratch in the kitchen. I asked. The corn was so finely ground it was almost consistent with flour. This make for an extremely soft tamale that was very very tasty. We are addicted and plan on stopping by every...
Read moreEvery time that I've been in this restaurant I've had poor customer service treatment for a passing customer. I'm fluent in English and Spanish so there is no misunderstandings. When I've asked to have my burritos cut in halves I've received almost equivalent to eye roll response, as well as asking for anything extra like an extra salsa, lime even napkins. Most of the time what you see on the menu to order is non-orderable (maybe due to COVID-19 not quite sure). I can honestly say that I've only ordered mostly burritos from this establishment, and they are filled with mostly everything else and very little meat you could say they would almost qualify as a vegetarian burrito. I would love to give this place a little better if a review because the flavor is great, but unfortunately until they change management flavor means 25% of my...
