Albany Municipal Auditorium — Attraction in Albany

This building is a big part of Albany Georgia's history, especially in the downtown area. I went with some family to hear two cover bands battle against each other. It was the Beatles vs the Rolling stones. I will mention that both bands were excellent, very talented performers, had great stage presence, and were interactive with the crowd. But, in my personal opinion the Beetles won the battle, however I'm a little biased because I really love the Beetles and their catalog of work& their style of music is more suited to my taste. Don't get me wrong I like and appreciate the Stones, but out of the two the Beetles are my favorite hands down. But, favoritism aside the Beetles put on a better show! My husband and I attended the presentation of Dream Girls at the AMA. This was our second time here in the last couple of weeks. While this is a beautiful venue, it seems plagued with sound problems. When microphones do work, the sound is crackled, static filled and difficult to sit through. I am sure the performers felt the same way and hated to see groups of us walking out.
