NOT welcoming at all- NOT the place for great service nor great products but they do have some cute merch.

I think that greeting your customers when they walk in the door has got to be one of the most simple and basic steps of running a store. It’s not hard. Greeting your customers as they walk in the door does not mean dropping what you’re doing and it does not mean anything other than acknowledging that you have customers that have walked into the store.

We were in the area yesterday and we stopped by Oregon Cannabis Co. It does have great visibility from the street and it’s a beautiful building but I wish we’d gone elsewhere. Upon arriving at the building yesterday afternoon, close to 2pm, my friend and I were excited to see what the store had to offer. There was a young woman up at the front desk, and she was talking to a man. My friend and I walked in we were smiling (we are both friendly people). The young, pretty employee and a male customer that she was talking to (who had already completed his purchase but was standing there talking to her) both looked at us. Immediately, after looking at us, without even smiling back or anything, the two people look back at each other, and the guy says to the employee, “Anyway, how’s your sister?” The girl entertains this new conversation and starts talking about her sister with him while we just stood there. It was a blatant “what are you even doing here” kind of vibe. He was the only customer in the store besides us.

Then, a few minutes later, once they were finished talking about her sister and he left, then we were finally acknowledged as next in line, still the only customers there.

At this point I decided I was only going to buy one simple thing and nothing else because the vibe was SO OFF.

I bought one eight dollar pre-roll and it was trash.

Will I recommend this dispensary to anyone?? No. Do I think that Management has failed by not giving employees sufficient training to be effective, well mannered salespersons, Yes.

If making sales is not the purpose of being at work, I really don’t know what the purpose is. If employees want to discuss their family members and how their sisters doing with inquiring men…. They could just give their customers their private phone number. Anyway, I was not impressed with anything about the shop except that they had some really cute merchandise; and the building itself is beautiful.

It’s a shame not to be able to give a good review to a business that has so clearly poured lots of time and effort into its image. It’s a shame that after all of that work, it’s being poorly managed.

What could have been an $80 or $180 sale with the right salesperson, turned into a measly $8 sale. My pre-roll burnt, and it was actually just a complete waste of money.

This dispensary is not a good representation of the many, many wonderful Oregon dispensaries that usually have a fantastic bud tenders who are welcoming and friendly and knowledgeable about great products available in the PNW.

It will do in a bind but I would take my money elsewhere.

I have been frequenting this shop for at least a year or two now. Lately I have been trying to quit due to personal lack of self control. For starters, their employees are amazing. They make me feel at home. They have always put my buying experience at ease, and provide TONS of helpful and HONEST input. 10/5 they're the best.

Cherry on top is that last time I went in I was relapsing. The guys in there know why and were even a listening ear during a very hard time. I told myself it would just be that day, but it wasn't. When I went in the second time this week the guy (same one as last time) snuck me a cbd preroll when I asked for thc. When asked if I'd want it instead, I clarified I wanted to be high and was fine as long as it had strong amounts of thc as well. I learned after the purchase that it had 4.2% thc. I was clear in that my goal was to take advantage of the low tolerance from failing to quit, which would have spelled for a rough week ahead at my new job. I am in no way upset, but it was presented to me as something that still had plenty of thc. I believe his goal was to give me something to take the edge off to get through my hard time without making it worse, while my goal was to get screwed up/intoxicated. I couldn't thank them more. I plan on continuing my journey to sobriety, and the people here have supported me from the first day I tried them out and the care/ service provided has never dropped. I'm so glad they listened to my needs and gave me exactly what was best for me yet again. Never stop caring. I cannot manage my relationship with marijuana, but if you can than this is the place to go. They're like a wise bartender; taking care of the regular drunk. I proudly wrote this sober. This got personal for a review, but I wrote it in hopes of 1. Bringing them business / 2. Sharing to give anyone else in similar situations that extra bit of hope. There are people out there that care and are looking out.
