If you're planning to work here, be mindful not to engage too much with customers, as it's not well-received by your co-workers! Employees in coordinator roles, such as MESSERT will talk behind your back and whilst having an obvious age difference, it's immature and arrogant. MESSERT to SLANDER and LAUGH about someone 1/4 your age or ANYONE the moment they walk out the break room or when the person isn't there is a display of disrespect and as someone with a HIGH ROLE should know better. And the fact you try involving some other employees to the conversation is insane. It's not your first time to target someone since I've heard from a previous employee that had to deal the same with her. I could see exactly why they left!!!!! Make sure to be a little over the age of 18 if not Messert will target you. As well with another coordinator named LISBETH (who everyone calls Lis) who has told me before to talk less as if customer service means to provide no service to the customer. As well with once commanded me to "move" rather than a simple "excuse me" and moved me out the way, I would like to think that everyone has basic manners, but it seems that’s not the case for everyone. Someone who is a fantastic example of this is a MANAGER named WANDA, who is unhelpful, irritable, and does not guide employees properly. You hesitate asking HER questions and need to figure it out yourself. Caused by Wanda's irritable attitude plus the response she gives as if she isn't the manager who should be providing guidance. If someone asks a question, it’s because they need help, why do you think they're asking? Saying "I don't know" isn't a helpful answer. The fact is that the place lacks respect and professionalism, leading to dissatisfaction among employees which is why they end up leaving. I know this because I've heard the same thing from even ex-employees!! Don't assume I'm speaking for myself I'm speaking for others who had and are having the same experience. Respect and competence is crucial in a workplace, but unfortunately, it doesn't...
Read moreYesterday I went shopping and I went in there for two items but I ended up spending more than planned which is okay because T.J. Maxx has great stuff. When I reached the check out, I told the check out associate to check out one by one and I asked her my balance before I handed her more items, at that moment she started to go thru all the items one by one, she pulled the pants I wanted to buy checked the tag front and back told me that this tag doesn't belong to the trouser, and I was watching her while she was tossing the item front and back then she goes to check the pants inside tag. Then she goes on to tell me that these pants dont belong to the tag, mind you she did not even scan the tag before doing this and I was in total shock that I stood there wonder what the heck was going on. Then she scans it and finds out the tag was correct and the pants did belong to the tag attached. Now you would think this will stop this lady but NOOOO she pulled the jacket and started doing the same thing, talking out loud telling me again that this jacket is not this tags price. I started to get frustrated but out of disbelief I just waited for her to scan it and see her find out for herself that everything was correct, which she did!! I do know who she thinks she is to judge people to insinuate that I am taking tags off and putting new prices!! it is so sad and so wrong in so many levels. She didn't even check the items in the system before she was talking out loud and tossing the items front and back, but quick glance she saw me and she decided to judge me! what a low life. It is so sad to see someone how is older than who should know better and wiser have a reckless state of mind. No one should be treated like this, she or any other employee does not have the right to question someones...
Read moreHad the worst experience. It started with a cashier, with the name of Karen. A fitting name as she went on and make an entire issue when I presented my sisters discount card. ( I have come this exact location, at least once a week and never had an issue ) now Karen says she cant accept the card because it’s only for spouses?! When it has always been explained that it is immediate family. Seeing that she and I shared the same womb Id say if it’s safe to say it doesn’t get more immediate then that. Now I asked for a manager. Then ms. Hawkins, the “manager” came and sided with her.!! At that point my mother, who I was shopping with, intruded and said she also has her card and has always been using it without problem. Now this manager backtracks and says that mothers are included. So to cut the interaction short. I got the number for customer service. At which point this “manager” comes over and tells me the district manager is there. So I choice to speak to him, Brian as I walking out. I explained to him what had happened and how embarrassing it was. WHEN HE AGREED AND SAID IMMEDIATE FAMILY IS FAMILY THAT LIVES IN THE SAME HOUSEHOLD. Needless to say this store needs to get their...
