genuinely don’t understand why yall need to ask the same people every 4 mins if they need help. I came in here once to pick up a product i needed quickly and i just wanted to grab and go.. but literally as soon as i came in the door one person asked if i needed help which is understandable bc that’s as soon as i walked in, so i politely declined and i was like no it’s okay im good i know what im here for. and then like three seconds later im not even joking abt this like 4 more other employees back to back walked up to me and kept trying to ask me if i needed help (clearly i didnt) and then kept trying to recommend me things that i wasn’t even looking at, or kept trying to recommend me a different sunscreen than the one that I was already there to buy which is annoying, if I’m here to buy a specific sunscreen that i’ve been using for years please don’t come up to me and try to recommend me something completely different. i don’t care what works for you clearly im here to pick up something that works for ME. especially I made it very clear that i didn’t need help and i had to say that 4 time. i was only going in there for a quick 5 min stop bc i was in a rush already, and to have to be stopped that many times and have to explain myself that many times when im already in a big rush is just frustrating and frankly rlly irritating and annoying. you guys do not need to be going around asking customers questions every 5 mins or have 5 different employees come up to one same customer literally back to back. as someone who’s really introverted, it’s Genuinely frustrating when I am just trying to buy what i know i’m there for and then five people come up to me and ask me the same thing or tell me the same thing and then I have to waste my precious time and life to explain to five people back to back that I don’t need their help and I already know what I’m here for while i’m already in a huge rush. even if i wasn’t in a rush i would still be annoyed bc why the hell yall got so many damn people in there literally following around customers and not leaving customers alone to just freely look and shop.. like trust me we don’t need you guys coming up to us asking us all these questions trying to recommend us random stuff. in other overseas countries when i travel they all let me have an amazing shopping experience by leaving me alone and letting me have my peace and space to freely look around. i don’t know if this is an american concept, but you guys really have got to stop this it’s...
Read moreHi there,
I wanted to share some feedback regarding a recent experience (today, April 17th at 14:00hr) at your establishment that left me quite disappointed and embarrassed.
I regret to inform you that a significant percentage of your employees are rude and seem to profile people as soon as they walk in. I choose to be a delivery driver 2/3 times a week to help pay for my Master's degree studies, and I find it astonishing that merely holding a phone where a barcode needs to be scanned is enough to trigger their negative attitude.
In any hospitality-driven environment, it is unacceptable for a cashier to be condescending to a person who is trying to pay for an order. The driver's app clearly instructs drivers to check with cashiers about the total amount before the company card is finally swiped, even though there is a small screen facing the customer showing the amount. In fact, this is to avoid certain discrepancies, hidden fees, or charges not displayed.
When I followed these instructions and asked the employee twice, I should not have to hear from this same employee in a very patronizing and disdainful manner as she said "it shows in there", pointing towards the screen. Then, when the sale completed, she handed the bag over without any greetings, and as I was walking out, she had the audacity to call out from a distance "have a better day"!
I am actually also a customer because I live in one of the apartments near the store and had purchased many items in there as presents as well as for family, but I will not be returning and will be sharing this experience with close family and friends as well. Please provide training to your employees, this is as simple as it gets.
Thank you for your attention to this matter.
Jonathan
PS: Store manager, please do not reply using automated apps like I have noticed in other posts. I would appreciate the professional courtesy of receiving authentic feedback.
**Unsurprisingly, I received an automated response from Sephora/Allen Management. To be honest, I expected a human response as a matter of professional courtesy. Moreover, it is entirely unreasonable to request that I reiterate the specifics of my experience, including the exact timeline, which I have already...
Read moreGarbage store. They keep asking you if you need help when you look like you're fine, and when you actually need help, you have to go and seek an associate. Each associate will give you different unsolicited advice on which beauty products to buy, leaving you with a basket full of high-end products that you don't even want. They will make unnecessary comments on your skin just to get you to buy a product that probably won't work on your skin. If I could remember the name of who did this, I'd happily say it, but I do remember that she's the licensed esthetician of this location. And if you have any skin issues, they treat you like they know your skin better than you know it yourself. Any knowledge you have about skincare is wrong because if you actually knew your skin, it wouldn't look they way it does, right? rolls eyes Anyway, after having 30 mins wasted by being hounded to purchase products I didn't want, I just picked up whichever products I was in the store for and bought gentle products based on my own skincare knowledge that probably ended up working better than whatever expensive garbage with irritating ingredients like essential oils was being sold to me. Thanks for wasting my time, I didn't use any of the products 3 different associates suggested to me after telling me that the previous suggestion was wrong. How are y'all selling products with such conviction when y'all can't even agree on the products you're recommending? These are women with perfect skin who have never had any major blemishes. So when they suggest a 100 different products for me that I know will irritate my skin, I can't help but think that these people don't understand how to treat blemished skin at all. They make suggestions based on what they think or have been told will work, but they have no idea on how blemished skin actually is. So I can't trust the advice of these associates either. I made a mistake by going here instead of my...
