We dined in and first they were busy bc workers were standing around. I changed my order while standing at checkout and the front manager got upset with the young lady Rachel, that was trying to void the transaction and rolled her eyes. Upon receiving our order the food was cold. When informing the front manager (Xochitl R.), was VERY RUDE! She didn’t listen and thought I only wanted a refund after giving some of the cold food back. She also told me she wasn’t refunding our meal again as if she originally gave us a refund in which she did not bc it was a void transaction from the first order and changes were made before the food was cooked. Xochitl R., was wanting to be argumentative and wouldn’t listen and again rolled her eyes at me and as she just walked off she kept saying she wasn’t giving another refund and rudely walked around the back counter telling all the employees. Thankfully Mimosa, the back manager was able to politely listen to MY small issue with the potatoes being hard and cold and apologized for everything. My mother’s food and coffee was cold and when remaking the coffee that was cold another staff member seemed upset about that. Everything was cold!!! The front manager also said I had my food sitting for awhile that’s why it was cold and I explained to her we addressed the issue with another gentleman prior and he took her plate and threw it away. The gentleman working the front had to tell the rude front manager that I didn’t sit and let the food get cold and he already received the food back after she accused me of letting the food get cold. I told them I would just take another fresh order of potatoes since I was told “they just came with the order” and Xochitl, told the cook “no don’t remake them.” There were flies all around, the floors were not clean, tables were not clean, staff was not friendly other than Mimosa and the new young lady Rachel, at the restaurant. Overall it was a terrible experience! My mother normally dines there mornings for coffee and danish, but she said she will never go back based on this experience. Mimosa, was very nice again! With more managers like Mimosa, that place would be properly ran. Xochitl R., the young rude Hispanic girl needs to be trained and put in the back or back office, or fired! Employees like Sonja, is a poor representation of any company and unfortunately will be the downfall of a company if...
Read moreWhen you get good service, it's good, but when owning a business like this one, you must be prepared for the number of people you will get. Great environment, and a good spot, but if you are going to open at 8 am, which is pretty late for a shop of this kind, then make sure you have scheduled enough people ON TIME and the food available when opening. The first few times I went to Frogg were great, but it suddenly became weak.
I went a few days ago in the morning, and no croissants were available. The cashier asked, and the lady in the Crêpes section looked at her with a sour look while on her phone and said no. This was around 9:30 am. Why don’t you make some croissants instead of being on your phone? I just got a Chai Latte; anyway, why stressed out?
I went again today, and no one was there but one lady at the register, taking ten people's orders, looking around wondering where her team was. If with 4-5 people working, they take long enough, imagine one person doing it all.
Owner: if you have been successful for a few years and your sales go down on a particular time/day, I guess it's time for you to put on your apron and figure out what is happening. Whatever it is, there's a solution for the problem, and nobody will take care of your business as you would. A lot of people look for great food like the one it's served here. We rather give our money to businesses like this than go to Starbucks for coffee or a sandwich. Not all business are perfect and there are times that it suck, but that is not...
Read moreLast night my wife and I dropped in for some dessert. Frogg has a perfect location in Watters Creek. The outdoor patio seating has a great view of the park in the center of the shopping center. Very nice atmosphere and ambiance. Unfortunately those are the best things about the restaurant. We ordered a bananas foster crepe along with a cappuccino for myself. The crepe came in a timely fashion, roughly 5 to 10 minutes. I asked about the coffee and the waiter said it was “still working.” After taking about 10 minutes eating the crepe, which was fine, I went inside and asked about my cappuccino. “We are working on those next,” is what I was told. We waited another 5 minutes outside and I finally went inside and decided to wait by the coffee bar until my drink was ready. I was asked “if I needed something” to which I replied, “yes, the cappuccino I had ordered nearly a half-hour earlier.” They said it would be “coming right up,” so we waited another five minutes before the barista asked me “was this for here or to go?” I said I had hoped to have the coffee with my dessert, but since I finished that 15 minutes earlier I would have it to go. Another thing I found annoying was how the barista banged the bags of ground coffee on the bar to break it up before preparing the coffee. Surely there must be a way to do that without making such a jarring sound. I will try another visit because I want to like this place. If the service improves I will adjust my rating...
