Kendra Scott — Local services in Allen

I've never really understood the craze for this place. Granted, their jewelry is pretty but they're fake, costume jewelry and very expensive for that. I have many friends who love this place and I don't judge them for it. It's their thing and I have purchased many gift cards from this place for my friends.

Lately, I have been looking for some everyday inexpensive jewelry to wear daily to spruce up my "plain" look. I visited another large accessory store and then decided to pop in and just browse. I wasn't expecting to find anything really but wasn't going in opposed to anything either.

They happened to be having a good sale on a very select group of items right at the front of the store. I actually found two necklaces that had been discounted and I liked them. Granted I felt like they were still over priced, but given their "original price" I was supposedly getting a good deal.

The lady in the store was friendly enough, not exactly welcoming or forthcoming of any deals they had going on outside of this "sale table" I was browsing. I say this because later when I got home, saw they were having a special sale and I wished I knew about it so I could've considered it. Especially since I paid more for less pieces than that of the sale I was reading about.

People will shop this business no matter what my opinion is, and I"m not here to bash any business or person working there, and especially not anyone who shops here. AWFUL customer service.

I have been a customer of Kendra Scott for several years now. When I visited the Allen, TX location I experienced awful customer service. All of the employees were rude and so unhelpful when I approached the color bar. I decided to ignore the awful customer service I had experienced earlier and go ahead to the cash register. I approached the employee there and greet her and ask how her day was going. She was apparently too busy to answer or even look up from her phone that she was texting from. Throughout the entire checkout process she didn't say a word. She said she had to charge me again because the system froze right in the middle of my first transaction and didn't charge me. I told her that she had already charged and showed her my bank statement to prove it, she told me this "happens all the time" and that the first transaction hadn't actually gone through. She and the manager promised me that the money should be in my bank account by the morning. Well, its been a week and I still haven't received the money and when I called the store they say "there's nothing they can do for me" and to call corporate. When I call corporate to tell them I've been double charged, they seem just as confused and say it'll take 15 business days for them to do anything, even though I was promised the next business day I would have the money in my bank. It's sad and pathetic that a business I have been shopping from for years has no problem being rude, double- charging, and lying to their customers. I won a raffle with my job so I went into the shop with my gift card. The first person I met was a woman named Erika who is bubbly and outgoing and helped me ,because when you walk in there, there are so many beautiful things it’s hard to choose. i wandered a little bit more, and then when I went to go pay, I was a little confused still , as to what to get and didn’t know which ones I wanted ,and the girl at the counter wasn’t so wonderful … .so I went to Erika when I was leaving , to get her name for this review, because she was awesome. ( so, if you do need anything go to Erika ) and I told her she was a tremendous help, but that the other girl at the register upset me and made me feel like a burden .:: Erika then did something that was way over and beyond . I can’t even tell you what it was, but it was so appreciated , And later I found out she was the manager. ( which I’m not surprised because she’s excellent at her job.) I wanted to thank her for everything that she did and do this review, and she also deserves recognition ! as to the store. It’s a great location. It’s clean.
