I really hate giving bad reviews but unfortunately I feel it is necessary. When I came in to try the service for the first time I was working with the assistant manager, when I was done she asked me about signing up, I said I wasn't sure and and asked how the cancellation policy worked, she said it would be a 30 day cancellation. I told her I didn't want to sign up, she asked why, I said because I don't like the 30 day notice. She said if that is the concern, don't worry about that I'll take care of it, just contact me before your billing period and I'll cancel it. I told her that I've had people promise me stuff like this before and disappear, she told me don't worry I'll be here no problem. That day I took her word and signed up thinking she would uphold that promise. By the next time I visited she was no longer with the company.
Fast forward to now I need to cancel my membership and I asked the current staff if they will uphold that promise she gave and they are telling me our policy is 30 day cancellation and that's it. Given all of the bad reviews online you'd think they would for once try to build up a better reputation and uphold the promise but no instead risk losing more customers because of policy. The worse part to me is having an assistant manager lie to get business, how sad is that. Bad on my part for not making her put that in writing which I'll do if I ever encounter this again. It's sad that a company will keep getting bad reviews online and won't make the necessary corrections to take care of their customers. Be careful doing business here. What a great concept they have but terrible customer service. Companies should not promise things they won't deliver and when your employee makes promises they can't keep it looks bad. It may not affect the business now but it might affect it later. There were other random issues as well that were off putting like some rooms having a sewer smell and doors not locking properly at times and towels having stains. I tried to work through all of that but not upholding the promise the assistant manager gave is sad and disappointing. Again make sure you know what you are getting into when working with this company. They will uphold policy even if their employees lie for money. This is what you are working with. This is also a public note that I submitted my form to cancel my membership today on 6/14/25.
If I signed up and agreed to the 30 day notice I wouldn't have had an issue with it but I didn't sign up for that and was lied to,...

UPDATE. Staff dropped the ball, shady business practices. Changing this review after my absolute disaster of an experience. After several weeks/months of visiting and purchasing sauna and cold plunge individually, I was convinced to get a membership, unaware of the cancelation policy. (I should've known, that's on me.) After calling this location on 10-13 after having not been there in a couple of months, I was displeased to learn that you will be charged a full additional month after canceling your membership. After having the conversation requesting that they waive that next month's charge, I received an email stating they were unable to do so. Wasn't too big of a deal, so I didn't think any more of it. Checked my credit card transactions this month, AND I WAS CHARGED AGAIN. 60 full days later, I was still being charged. Tried calling the studio several times, unable to reach anyone on the phone, sent 3 emails before receiving a response that my "concern had been escalated to upper management." Manager from this location, Toni I believe her name was, called me today, stating that she wouldn't "bore me" with the cancelation policy, and that I was still being charged, because I still had a membership. After advising her that the email chain I was being called about, had the membership cancelation details proving I had called requesting cancelation. She stated I had not filled out a cancelation request. After advising I had received no such correspondence, and there's evidence I had called on 10-13 regarding cancelation of my membership, she stated "I just don't see how it's possible that you had a conversation about canceling and this wasn't mentioned, I can't refund your money, but I won't charge you next month." Telling a consumer that you don't believe them, and then having the audacity to act like you're doing them a favor for not charging the following month, after the company clearly dropped the ball, is an utter disregard for your clientele base. I will not be returning to any locations of this company, or recommending them to anyone, and I would urge you to stay away, or at least, never purchase a membership unless you're prepared to dispute charges with your...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreI love SweatHouz! The employees at the Allen Watters Creek location are top notch - always extremely friendly and professional! I used to have an unlimited monthly membership but with my busy schedule, I just couldn't come as often anymore. The team was helpful and switched me to a 4x a month membership which is perfect for me. I've been coming for over a year now. I also love that I can bring a friend for a great guest price!
The app is very user friendly. If I ever have an issue booking or questions, I call the main number and someone typically returns my call within 30 minutes. Cold plunge may need to be booked a day in advance sometimes but I've walked in and it's available too.
I recently won a sauna party where I was able to bring several friends for a full private sauna experience. The staff treated our group like royalty! They weren't overly pushy on the sales tactics which was nice (we appreciate this is a business and sales is a big part of it). Marcello and Neenan were amazing to work...
