Place is ok at best. More "full-time" residents than traveling RVers or vacationers 😏 . We made a reservation months in advance for a week's stay. We requested a pull-through for our 40' fifth-wheel. . Reservation confirmed to have one available when we arrived, but were told we could not request a specific spot/site #. . We arrived at 5:05 pm on our check-in day. Office closes at 5p, so there is a sign stating to check-in at adjacent hotel. (Office doors were unlocked and workers inside. They were happy to not help us and to tell us to go to the hotel to check in). . Thankfully, we had driven past the sign and parked on the side of the road by the office... . If you visit here and arrive after hours, BE CAUTIOUS if driving your rig into the hotel parking lot to check-in. ⚠️ . We WALKED! Highly recommended! . The parking lot is tight and quite full - so driving a big rig through there is nonsense. (Plus! There is actually a sign at the parking lot entrance that states: NO SEMIS!) AND...There is a 12' roof cover at the entrance of the hotel (you would have to drive under 😮) you may not know is there until you round the corner. 🤬 . We witnessed rigs having to back up in this tight parking lot to get out of there. Ugghhh.... No thanks! . Checking in was a disaster. Wasted a good 30 minutes. Thankfully was resolved... But, the first person who "helped" us matter-a-factly told us they had no pull-throughs availabile (to which we had paid a deposit months prior) so we would be put in a "pull-IN" site and would have to leave our truck on. 😵 . Ummm... What...?!! . No. That is unacceptable. Not to mention BIZARRE 😕. . Okay, so it took me asking 3 times what exactly a "pull-IN" is. Turns out, it's EXACTLY what it sounds like 😲. . This park actually designed the entire perimeter with spaces that you drive in FORWARD - to a DEAD END of grass - Why? Who knows. Could have simply all been back-ins. Really STRANGE! . FINALLY got it sorted out and we were put in spot surrounded by full-time residents. Not a big deal, just surprising. At $300/week, we were surprised (& a little confused 🤨) as to why SO MANY people would choose (& pay $$$$) to live here full time...🤔 . Turns out, the majority of this park is filled with "work-campers" who stay for free and work on the property or at the amusement park. That in and of itself is fine, but the park clearly gives priority to the free stays rather than paying customers. . This "resort" really is not an "RV resort" or "vacation spot." It's overpriced (perhaps to cover all of the free stays), the spots are tight, the entire park is one-way so it takes 5 minutes just to get out, the roads are a mess - no "speed bumps" but it feels like that's what you're driving over, the sewer hookups are sitting a foot off the ground (seriously!) so good luck emptying tanks 😫. The water pressure is a joke and "50 amp" isn't really 50 amp. We have a power box which shows us how much power is coming into the rig - it was about 10% less - so no running the convection oven while both air units were running. . We wouldn't stay here again. . The ONLY reason for 2 stars is the location. It's close to everything and right off I80. And it is quiet despite being attached to the amusement park and close to the main roads.
