I spoke with an associate over the phone who told me to bring in my defective xbox one controller and she would return it and let me switch out the controller for another one no matter the warranty on it or not. I have this all on audio recording, when my husband took the controller with the box almost new back up to the store. The "assistant manager" claimed that he didn't care what the associate said, he will not allow her to exchange out the product since I didn't buy a warranty. Mind you, I have it on recording that she stated she would just return it and do an exchange for a defective remote controller.... the way this whole situation was handled by the store assistant manager was enough for me.... we will never return, or do business with...
