My wife and I go to this penn station pretty frequently and every time they get her order wrong. Whatever she reqest they not put on the sandwich, they put it on there. She's not picky and we don't like to make a fuss over such small things but our most recent visit was the worst yet. We placed an online order and she requested a grilled Italian without Mayo, Red Onions, and Tomatoes and guess what, they put exactly those things on the sandwich. I drive 15 minutes home before realizing and I've had it so I decide to get in my car and drive all the way back so my wife. can have a correct sandwich for once from them. I go in polite yet stern about my request for the correct sandwich as stated on the ticket (which someone obviously didn't read). They remake the sandwich and everything looks good until I bring the sandwich back home to my wife only to find THEY ADDED THE MAYO AGAIN. Even requested for the second time to make the sandwich correctly they just can't do it. Is there a deficiency in reading ability or verbal understanding? I don't get it. The first register was closed, but they didn’t say anything like “I can help you over here when you’re ready” so I stood at the first register for a little bit thinking that someone would be over to help. Once my receipt printed, the employee just held it out without saying anything or looking at me. The guy making my sandwich was new so he was double checking on how to make the sandwich and the person he asked answered him like helping him was the most inconvenient thing that could ever happen to her. The guy who took my order didn’t get the lemonade I bought, even though it was right by the register, so when the unpleasant lady from the above sentence held out my bag and said “have a nice day”, I had to tell her I ordered a lemonade, which she got for me, but was not very kind about it. Read moreI went in on Saturday 9/30/23. I arrived at 630 and ordered my food. I looked around to see that the store already had chairs up on tables and half the store was closed for sitting. I kindly told the lady behind the register that i would not fit in their booth space and could I please use one of the closed tables. She was hesitant to let me, but finally told me i could. After sitting down and receiving my food, which was made wrong, the manager parked a mop bucket right next to me. was then complaining about the Fat a** that had to mess up her section. Mins later the girl previously behind the register was then cleaning the bathrooms looking miserable. coincident possibly. I have never been so embarrassed in my life.
