The rooms are very nice, and many of the staff and custodians are very nice and kind (especially the ones who work a lot on the 4th floor, they're awesome!). It's a clean building, with a lot of spaces and a cafe in addition to the dining hall.
If you are a vegan like me, the options in the dining hall aren't great. Sometimes it feels like they don't even try, because the "meals" that they offer will just be a small bowl of unseasoned tofu in rice or noodles with some green peppers . Sometimes they have better options, such as sushi. However, I would say go to South Quad because it seems that they have better options.
I was very disappointed with the vegan options, as I was told by the tour guides before I started going to U of M that they have the best. But they really just have some of the most pathetic options I've ever seen. The dining hall always has plenty of options and is a favorite among vegetarians and vegans. The blue cafe has good food and drinks. I liked to study in the Green Lounge.
