My favorite order at BTB Burrito is the BTB Fries. It's really the only thing I order. Although I enjoy this meal, there is a problem every time I order it. I've received in the past, someone else's order and an order 2 hours later. I know I've done it through GrubHub in the past, but it's unfortunate that this has happened. This time, I placed an order for the fries and a chimichanga. I ordered at 10:24 pm, was received a notification that it would be here at 10:50. I waited until 11 pm and called Good Time Charley's, which had combined with them for covid, to see where my order was. I was told that my fries were being delivered by someone, but that my chimichanga was still at the restaurant and would be delivered when a driver a came. I then received a call, that unfortunately, something happened and there were no drivers but I can pick up my order on my own. I was fine with that and went to the restaurant, this time close to 11:30, so an hour after I placed my order. I got there, said my order, the bag said both of my things were there. I opened the bag on the way home to find only the chimichanga. Called them to explain, they apologized and refunded my fries Just really disappointed at this point. The chimichanga wasn't for me, so I'm glad my friend got what I ordered for them at least. Would recommend if you can go inside, the BTB fries are really amazing, but ordering has always...
Read moreFirst, I have to give credit where it’s due: the food is great and it’s one of the places in AA open late at night. The website also has a rewards system for points and discounts. But the praise stops there.
Let's talk about the management - or should I say, the lack of it. It's clear they have no idea how to handle a busy night. This place is severely understaffed, which leads to insanely long lines, especially on game nights. The pickup counter is a disaster, and you can barely hear anyone. Orders get mixed up, and you're left standing there for what feels like an eternity. They just let people crowd around and wait, which creates massive mobs. Meanwhile, if you ordered in advance, your food is probably done sitting ages inside a food warmer.
It's frustrating and unacceptable.
Sure, they're open late at night, which is a plus, but what's the point if you have to endure such a chaotic experience? The food might be worth the hassle for some, but for me, it's just not worth the headache. Fix your management, hire more staff, streamline the pickup process, have an overhead TV screen saying which orders are ready-to-pickup, and maybe then I'll consider coming back. Until then, I'll have to find my late-night food...
Read moreGetting two stars because I believe they can do better, I know they have it in them. I can accept that some people have off days. Anyway. This is the worst burrito I've ever eaten. It was a shredded chicken chimichanga. When did I first encounter chicken? Well, at one point my reason for eating strayed away from hunger and became an attempt to chase away the dawning horror that there might not be any. About 2/3rds of the way in, it ambushed me. It was impressively crusty. My investigation felt like the end of Se7en. I didn't eat anymore. It never occurred to me how important organization was in a burrito until now, but it makes sense. People generally like consistency when it come's to them. Despite it being a chimichanga I think I had a total of 3? slightly crispy bites. There were an obnoxious amount of whole, soggy kidney beans, paired with mushy and lackluster rice. Keep in mind this is what I had to go through to get to the chicken(what's in the box?) So, chill on the beans, and nothing wrong with the classic black or refried beans. Texture is important, maybe wrap them in tinfoil, put them in paper bags, something, to reduce sog. Marinate the chicken, and change it out...
